On or about June 11, 2025, Choice Home Warranty assigned SEARS HOME SERVICES to repair the fault in my home AC. SEARS HOME SERVICES sent a technician to my residence on our about 17JUN2025. All was going good until the technician actually arrived. The technician was on scene for no more than 15 minutes before he declared the faulty issue was on the "electrical side" and would require an "electrician" to repair "the circuit breaker to the AC unit." I paid the ACU Technician fee of $85.00 and the technician departed. I had to wait an additional week for an electrician to come to my residence. The Electrician arrived on or about 20JUN2025. The electrician performed MULTIPLE diagnostic procedures. Procedures i am personally familiar with performing as a retired electrician. Within 15 minutes, the electrician founded that the HVAC was inappropriately connected by the persons who installed the AC unit. And the electrician was able to troubleshoot the fault into the AC unit's capacitor or the electrical motor (coil winding fault in the rotor or stator). The Electrician then informed me the AC unit repair person "should have been able to figure this out by performing a system functional check or diagnostic procedure." Now I have to recall the SEARS HOME SERVICES repair technician to complete the job that should have been completed by the original AC unit technician. In life about 20JUNE2025, I contacted the SEARS HOME SERVICES department. The earliest they can send a technician is 01JUL2025. I informed SEARS HOME SERVICES that I have 3 kids and my house is nearly 90 degrees inside. The ambient temperature is currently in the mid to high 80's. The next week, the temperature outside is expected to exceed the mid 90's with a heat index of 110°F. My house will be uninhabitable!!! Food will spoil!!! This blows! And not cool air!!!

I scheduled a warranty repair for the ice maker in my GE refrigerator through Sears Home Services. However, I was forced to use an AI bot because they no longer use human agents for scheduling. Although I repeatedly provided my street address, the bot recorded it incorrectly. When I received the confirmation, I manually changed it on the website, but apparently the update failed because the tech could not locate my home on appointment day, He had my phone number, did not contact me for the correct address. This was an epic failure of AI. I am furious and disgusted. I wonder how many people lost their jobs as a result of this bot. Shame on Sears Home Services. I do not recommend them.
