My technician Roy was amazing. The new AI service that Sears is using is one of the worst things I have ever encountered. On the first day of scheduled service, The AI canceled my appointment and rescheduled it without even letting me know that the technician was running late. And without consulting me on the new date and time. The second scheduled service the technician called me because the AI had logged it as a trouble ticket and was going to try and charge me $120 for the washer and $120 for the dryer to get service when my protection plan gives me that privilege once a year for free. And that number was even different than the email that I was sent by the AI saying $99. So that appointment got canceled because I was not paying nearly $300 for something I was supposed to get for free. I finally got it scheduled a third time. And supposedly actually got a human in the chat function online since there is no protection plan service option to choose from. And everything worked out well.

Technician was prompt and courteous. After exploring all options and checking parts and labor prices, and due to the age of the machine, I opted to purchase a new unit with a new warranty for approximately the same price. It was worth it to confirm what I already suspected. I would use Sears home services again as I have in the past. Thank you!
