1st tech spent little time, diagnosed, ordered the part, and sent it to ur house. Was frozen line to ice maker. He didn't try to defrost. Left that for us to do. Received part on Thursday. After receiving several messages for an appointment on Friday 8am-5pm was a no-show with no notification. Rescheduled for Monday 9:24am, then 12:44pm, then 12:10pm. Finally, 2:15 tech showed up for the 10-minute install. 2nd tech was very good & nice. So scheduling is very terrible. Also, every correspondence email or text, even working off the same string, their AI sends a new 6 digit code to prove it's you. Frigidaire sent them to do some warranty work. I suggested them not using this service anymore. They had to come out because our ice maker line froze again. This was due to a manufacturer design flaw. This repair took several weeks due to the manufacturer come out with a part to fix the problem. Due to production the part was on backorder. This definitely was not the techs fault. He did keep in touch with me about the part status and rescheduled appointments. Raymond has definitely renewed my faith in Sears Home Service. He contacted the company to to find part numbers for the new parts. I hope Sears knows what a great asset they have. He turned my 1 star into 5 star. Would have given him more if possible.
