Bellflower, CATechnician-excellent service! Customer service-below poor
3 days of NO SHOWS; no communication as to NO SHOWS; cumbersome/ineffective process for scheduling INCONSIDERATE: UNPROFESSIONAL. What would company's response if my payments were missed on 3 separate occasions???? *IF interested in customer satisfaction: schedule for shorter window of time (7AM-12 N) or 1PM-5PM; professional call to alert NO TECHNICIAN *compensation for 4 missed appointments

I was referred to Sears from American Home Shield for a washing machine repair. I had a technician named Tim come out on Thursday, diagnose the problem and effected a quick repair. However, after he left and we tried to run a load the machine developed another issue as it would not drain. I tried to reach Sears and Tim but that was difficult as the main Sears switchboard is almost all AI. I scheduled another repair visit for Friday and was told the usual 8am to 5pm time frame. when I hadn't heard from anyone by 4:30pm I tried to reach Sears. After several tries I got a phone center that was obviously not in the US. They told me the tech was on the way but would be late. The tech finally called and left me a voice mail saying that he was not going to make it. That was about 8pm on Friday. I texted him to see if he would come on Saturday and he didn't respond. Sears automatically scheduled a Monday follow up visit so I was required to spend my Saturday at a local laundromat as we were in need of clean clothes for a business trip my wife was taking on Monday. On Monday the new technician came by and in a matter of minutes found that the first technician had accidentally disconnected a wire to the pump. Her reconnected it and left. The machine appears to be working fine now. My issue is with the incredible lack of customer awareness and assistance shown by Sears Appliance repair and the difficulty they put us through. You need to do better.
