The serviceman acted as if it he was in a big hurry. The experience felt rushed and not as attentive as I expected.

When the service technician was here ,I told him the oven shut off when baking banana bread ,and would not start back up. We tried at different times to start the oven that night because that morning we had pizza dough to make pizza that night. He checked out the ignitor which at time he was here was working. The oven did light and was warming up. He shut it off and said he could not find anything wrong with it. I don't know if it is fixed or not we have not used but he never let it get up to 350 and hold the temperature. So we will see the next time we use it.
William Haragarther,
Sodus, NYFrustration
This was the second time that Chris had come out. The first time he took a picture of the fence and field next to the house and stated I wasn't home. My front door was open and vehicle in the driveway. No one knocked or called. On the second attempt, I never received an " on the way" text. I just checked the status via the link and sat outside for 45 mins waiting. I didn't want the drive by to happen again. Once he was finally there, he was able to diagnose the issue. Luckily he had a part to fix it so that I didn't have to waste another day sitting and waiting. My next step was to just pay someone since the warranty route had been such a frustrating hassle.

I wanted a solution as to what appeared to be peeling on stainless steel trim cooktop. It's unattractive (and stainless steel doesn't peel?!) and only 3 years old! Not covered by warranty because it works-just looks ugly! Last Kenmore I will ever buy.

We feel that Sears should know more on any products ; Since you sell them and all you need is a product name and picture and then some visits by your technician can be easy on them and your customers .
Anthony P,
Bradenton, FLDon't Try to Speak to a Human
The technician was competent, but it took three visits to complete the repair. I tried calling Sears Transform to schedule an appointment after parts arrived. It took 30 minutes to finally speak to human who told me I could not schedule a follow up appointment. I had to call the warranty company to finally get satisfaction.

I was told that the parts I needed for my seers oven was obsolete. Now I have to buy a new oven. I wanted to know what parts I needed to find in case I could research it myself. But I was never given a sheet showing which parts I needed.

1st problem, nobody notified me the tech was coming out...I just happened to be off the day she showed up. 2nd problem, the range was not put back together correctly. 3rd problem, the unit was not functioning when the tech left. It was in test mode and the tech had no idea how to get it out of nor was she going to try. Only said that I had to do the "programming" to get it to work
