Failed to put oven back in place

Called sears - the stove was pulled out from the wall by the service man. I was told someone would return today to push it back into place as my husband has had back surgery and can't lift. No one called back or returned.

Wasted, expensive service to (not) replace our oven door

First I should say, John is terrific. He has come out before, and been very helpful. We were told we would get a call so we could help the driver bring the parts needed. We never got a call, in spite of numerous emails and texts to remind us of our apt. I am so disappointed.

I would like to start with the positives. I like that I received text updates on appointment times. I also liked that I got a call on the day of the appointments to inform me that the service provider wouldn't be available until later in the day. Now for the negatives. I did not like that my original appointment was canceled on 3 separate occasions on the day of the appointment. If I had taken those days off of work, I would have been even more annoyed. For both appointments, I had Shane as my service provider. Shane was polite; however, I did take issue with a few things. One, on both occasions, Shane would huff and puff and mumble words under his breath like "stupid." Two, both visits, Shane left trash on the floors. Three, this one made me the most angry. After putting our oven back together, the oven door did not close all the way, and Shane repeatedly slammed and aggressively pressed the oven door against what even was causing the door to not close. At first, Shane thought it was the oven door latch hitting the door, so he kept smashing the door into it over and over again. Then he started getting even more aggressive with taking the oven door on and off. I was so upset that I woke my husband up and had him get out of bed. I was certain that our wood floors were going to get scratched, or our range was going to get dented or scratched. I was just about to start recording because I had already signed the waiver stating that he wasn't responsible for damage but in this case, I felt he should be responsible if something got damaged! The oven door was getting closed hard enough that the latch could have gotten bent! Come to find out, the oven rack was the cause of the door not closing. All in all, Shane was not horrible, but I would of liked him to be more careful when working on my appliance. This situation could have turned out much worse had my floors or range gotten damaged. I also would of appreciated if he cleaned up after himself.

The service person was very nice & polite but left the burners leaking gas. I can't get in contact with anyone in Sears. I had to call Gas company to detect the leak

I tried to explain the continuous problem. What he did I could have dine myself. He did not take the screw out to see exactly whst was going on with it. But if I'm calling continuously about the same problem, why can you not put a bandage on it.

Service good, schedule bad

Placed called the first of the month for a repeat call on range. Service manager call and explain problem (same as before), will order parts. Received e mail about arrival, parts department forgot to let repair man know about parts were in house. Had to reschedule time for the following week. Johnny did a very good job of replacing parts and careful of work area. Reschedule was not his problem, higher up drop the ball!

Unprofessional

When Michael got here he seemed like he didn't want to do the job. He didn't want to pull the bottom drawer out from the oven as it was stuck or pull the oven away from the wall to look for the model number. Instead my husband did it. He tried to say I'll let you guys figure it out and then come back but my husband ended up taking care of it. He was right at the end there was no model number but he was not helpful or professional. As he left I asked for his manager and he stated " I don't have one" I would not recommend his services nor want him to return to my house ever again.

he didn't fix my stove

He was a nice guy, but the previous technician who came to take a look at my stove didn't order the right replacement pieces. Randy told me he could not do anything with the pieces ordered, he needed the entire set of burners, but when he tried to order the right pieces it wasn't possible because the exceeded maximum amount of pieces ordered based on the policy. so he ended up closing the ticket's repair without doing anything to fix the stove. I don't understand why they sent a different technician to do the repair and not the technician that originally came to do the diagnostic, now I'm still with my stove issue that doesn't turn on and wasted two workdays.

Didn't want to be here

Larry was ready to leave before he even arrived . He left his van running in my driveway and assured me the repair would be finished before I needed to leave in 25 minutes. He admitted he didn't know the task he was sent to complete when I asked how long he would need. He gouged my vinyl floors with the feet of the built-in oven trying to move it by himself and proceeded to scold me loudly when he shocked himself trying the remove the burner assembly. Larry claimed we should have had the power to the unit shut off or had it unplugged when he arrived . I explained I wasn't notified of this and have never been told that in previous repairs. He needed another person (my husband or me) to hold the stovetop in order to install and uninstall the burner assembly and had us going up and down the stairs to open and close off the breakers. He was disorganized in returning the unit to finished assembly , didn't check some of the wire connections until I noticed they were hanging loose, and didn't even turn the newly replaced burner on to check it for function before he signed on a line for me . When I asked he said I didn't need to sign anything. I've never had a Sears technician like this before and I've always purchased through Sears with extended warranties. Losing Sears I'm Topeka was a sad time for me

Under Trained and has no time!

He clearly lacks technical knowledge and is more interested in checking off his cal for as many appointments as possible regardless of whether issues are resolved. Arrived late in the afternoon, and right from the get go want away out if the job. Left the range broken and even worse than before doing the work. Shame on Sears, Cinch, this home warranty business is a shame!
