Outstanding Work
Odaine arrived promptly and began troubleshooting the power issue with my furnace. He kept me appraised of what he was finding and working on, and kept the work area clean. Definitely a knowledgeable technician that I would trust with my system anytime.

Tony arrived and masterfully took apart the entire Ice Chute and paddle mechanism in order to replace the two items which were hanging by a thread. He was efficient, gentlemanly and thorough. Thank you Sears for employing him so that he could successfully repair my fridge.

He Knows His Stuff!
Tony is a meticulous, conscious & analytical repair technician. He has come to my home for many, years and I was glad to see him when he showed up at my door & not the pictured repair tech! But Tony explained the picture was actually him and he removed his beard since because he found it made him look older. Tony knows kitchen appliances & how they can behave when certain problems are occurring. My fridge stopped making ice, but before Tony arrived, the entire freezer stopped working. He performed a thorough eval of my fridge & found that major systems were not performing & ordered all the parts needed. Upon his return he found the parts delivered damaged & unable to use. Tony gave me guidance on opening parts & inspecting them prior to his return & what to look for that would render them unacceptable. Before Tony's scheduled return, the whole fridge went out. One major part was delivered with no outward sign of damage to packing but upon opening I found it damaged & immediately notified Sears Home Services (SHS). It was then that the only way to get around Sear's horrible computer answering system was to "chat," I was told a Parts Manager would reach out to me & the scheduled repair date would be canx. I waited & waited & no one ever contacted me. I rec'd. the recorded message that the repair tech would arrive as scheduled the next day. I threw up my hands & said the SHS would eat this cost for not supplying an acceptable way for me to stop Tony from coming back the next morning. However, Tony called me the repair day morning to get an update on the parts & I exploded with anxiety about my frustration with SHS. Tony was cool & collect & told me he would find out "what was what" & get back. In the mean time I reached out to Assurant to find out what they would do as now I was going to go thru the 2nd biggest cooking day of the year with NO FRIDGE! Assurant did NOTHING TO HELP! But Tony came as one of his last calls & he did his best to fix it!

I waited 4 weeks to get my dryer repaired, the wrong part was ordered three times. The last tech fixed the dryer in about a half hour. Customer service is everything one of you techs didn't show up until 8:30 pm. I would never recommend your company to anyone and will let American Home Shield know how I feel!!!

Odaine called to let us know he was going to be arriving early and to make sure we were going to be available. He took time to thoroughly investigate the issues and provide comprehensive repairs. He provided a clear explanation of the work that was done. The overall experience could not have been better.
