A popular window replacement favorite at Sears Home Services is the double-hung window. Our durable double hung windows offer affordability with amazing features better than many competitors who only provide single hung designs.
We have multiple models, design choices and options including window shapes, interior and exterior colors, blinds, and glass types to work within your personal style and budget. And speaking of colors, wait until you see the brand new and highly popular black on black windows. A showstopper for sure!
Introducing bypass sliding patio doors from Wincore®! These doors take sliding doors to a whole new level. Rather than just slide open like a standard sliding door, they open up your living space to the maximum. Panels slide on a double roller track and then stack neatly within the door frame while taking up minimal floor space. This allows maximum light and fresh air to stream in with a dramatically wide opening to your patio or garden. Schedule now for a free estimate!

Types of replacement windows
DOUBLE HUNG WINDOW - This popular and classic favorite is a standard window in most homes. Both sashes open, allowing ventilation from top and bottom.
OUR MOST POPULAR WINDOWS TYPES
Double-Hung Windows
Double-hung windows are the most popular type of replacement window Sears installs. Hung windows have a bottom and top section, or “sash.” Only the bottom sash of a single-hung window opens. In double-hung windows, both sashes open. Builders often install single-hung windows in homes during construction. When homeowners replace single-hung windows, they typically choose double-hung replacement windows, which makes demand for double-hung replacement windows higher than the demand for single-hung replacement windows.
Double-Slider Windows
Slider windows have two sashes installed side-by-side. One sash slides open and the other sash is fixed on single-slider windows, while both sashes slide on double-slider windows. Almost as many homes have slider windows as have hung windows, making replacement slider windows nearly as popular as replacement hung windows. As with hung windows, builders often install single-slider windows in homes. So, when homeowners replace single-slider windows, they typically choose double-slider replacement windows, which makes the demand for double-slider replacement windows nearly equal to double-hung windows.
Single Glass Doors
Replacement sliding glass doors, also called patio doors, are extremely popular. Many homes built after 1945 have at least one sliding door or hinged patio door.
Standard sliding glass doors have a stationary glass panel and another one that slides on tracks. Tracks and frames of sliding glass doors wear out over time. Our expert installers replace sliding patio doors at the same time that we replace windows in many homes.
When replacing a patio door, consider installing innovative bypass sliding glass doors from Wincore®. A standard sliding glass door has one fixed panel and one sliding panel. But a bypass sliding glass door has three or four moving panels on two tracks. The doors stack neatly within the door frame. This design allows light and fresh air to stream in, with a wide opening to your yard.
Bay Windows and Bow Windows
A bay window is a three-sectioned window that extends outside the house; the side sections are usually narrower than the center section and usually are at a 45-degree or 90-degree angle to the center section. Bow windows also extend outward, but have 4 or more glass panels to create a curve.
Bay and bow window replacement requires special attention to detail to avoid problems such as leaks or window sashes not opening easily. Sears installers have the expertise and experience to install bay and bow windows correctly, and we guarantee our work.
