The back button for water & ice stays stuck And we either get all wet or ice is all over the floor. Sears can never get it right!!!

Tech came out, told him what was wrong with my refrigerator. He said he put a new capacitor in and there was a terminal connector. That was not good said it was shorting itself out. Well, the refrigerator still does the same thing just makes a different noise now.

"Technicians" of today play guessing games. Quiet guy barely speak English. He did not even check the components just assumed that some parts needed to be replaced. Bad company!!!!!

Refrigerator Technician

He didn't perform alternate trouble shootings to the equipment, only conduct an apparent visual screening; didn't verify gas on the compressor neither check the equipment with sufficient amout of time to convince customer. Only he was enfasizing on the price for new parts/equipment/compressor and not informing the customer appropiately on minimun repairs that could be the main issues of the refrigerator. He seems to work only to make money not to help the customer.

Refrigerator repair

Brent was polite, put on booties when asked, worked hard at replacing the ice maker, and finished in an hour. He said that there would be new ice made in about 30 minutes. It's been two hours and no ice has been made and I have no way to contact him or A & E. He did good work, but we have no ice!!!! I tried Sears home services and got the run-around of automated operators trying to have me get a free medical device, I couldn't get out of the loop to get help. Augh!!!!

Sears Protection Agreement Issues

Sears is not complying with the letter of the Master Protection Agreement in that is says after 3 failures and with a 4th repair Sears will replace the unit yet they are trying to interpret the number of techs that work on the unit as the deciding factor for replacement, specifically if the same tech returns to the home and installs two different parts on two different appointments, that is one service or unit failure. The contract isn't written that way and it is impossible to deal with someone that works remotely as well as hangs up on you when they don't agree with you. Not a good way to run a business or treat a 3 decade long customer. The unit by the way is a refrigerator, an essential home appliance. It appears they will do anything to get around replacing a unit, like it reflects badly on their reputation. They will spend twice what it would of cost to get a new one rather than have a replacement show on the record. What happened to financially unfeasible to repair?

Job Half Done Well.

Fixed water filter,made sure water was flowing, checked ice maker,had to call assist.Highe now no ice at all. Need fix-up told him what to do. please come back and fix what he did to ice maker.
