Refrigerator service
The technician was prompt, very pleasant and was able to diagnose the problem but unfortunately unable to fix it at this point in time. The work order was submitted through our home warranty company but it appears that Sears Home Service did not have the contract number or payment from home warranty which necessitates a call to the manager. Our refrigerator repair is pending at this point.

We called Sears for our cook top and they came with on one day and gave us the diagnosis. The part was ordered and sent to our home then the following week we had Christopher and Alberto come to change the part. They were very professional and in no time our cook top was fixed.

Eduardo did a fine job today replacing parts and troubleshooting error codes. He even took a suggestion I offered based on my own research. That turned out to be the final piece to the puzzle. Our Jenn-Air microwave oven is now back in service. While Eduardo showed perseverance and humility, the other tech who has been trying to service this appliance made several mistakes that stretched the repair time to 60 days. Ordering incorrect parts and failing to configure settings properly according to the service manual resulted in unneeded parts replacement and long wait times for part shipment. Had the correct parts been ordered and the proper service procedure been followed, this repair would have taken 2 weeks instead of 2 months.

Service was spot on, but the original repair date was cancelled the day of because parts didn't arrive. They could have called me the day before knowing that the parts were not here. Wasted a day scheduling around original appointment day.

Dwight explained the problem which was different than we thought it was. For this reason, we decided not to repair. We will be looking into replacement. Unfortunately, Dwight had to revisit company repair policies that were stated with the initial telephone call. This was overkill and unnecessary.

Alex was very clear in communicating when he would be at our house. Once there Alex explained our appliance problems and options available to fix them. Alex thoroughly cleaned and attended our appliance as required. Alex was clean cut and used appropriate language.
