Microwave and refrigerator preventive maintenance
Promised 8-5. Arrived 6pm. Was not as though as prior service technicians. In and out.

If I was rating just our tech I would have put 5 stars. "Mike" it's what he said I should call him, was wonderful. He was knowledgeable, efficient and very pleasant. He answered all my questions and fixed our refrigerator very quickly and then left everything clean. Our 2 complaints is that it took over 2 weeks to get the appointment and I was unable to talk to someone when the refrigerator stopped working.

Needed to contact Repair service and they're uncontactable by phone or email. Neither is shown on website. Used a form on the website to explain my need and nobody responded. Repair technician 100% (approachable, skilled, and considerate) - Customer Service at repair firm 0%. Average 50% Rounded up to 3 stars.

Liberty Twp, OHDiagnosed problem, but couldn't remove dishwasher
Pros: Paul called me before he arrived, and he arrived on time. He was friendly and got right to work. Despite not being able to remove the dishwasher (the screws were stripped), he still told me there was in fact a leak, and that it was likely caused by the motor. Both turned out to be true. He also quickly gave us an estimate for the replacement part. He was courteous the whole time. Cons: He could not remove the dishwasher out from its place. He said the screws were stripped. While I understand that that was an issue, he didn't appear to spend a long time troubleshooting or figuring out a way to solve the problem. I told him we'd call the guy who installed it, and Paul asked if we'd have the dishwasher removed by the 9th, the earliest day of return. When I call Sears for service, I shouldn't be responsible for removing the dishwasher. Even if Paul truly couldn't get it, I wish he had at least called someone else. Instead, we were fortunate that our contractor was in the neighborhood and was able to remove it (in 5-10 minutes or so, so this removal wasn't impossible).

The tech Jeff was excellent. However it took 3 weeks to finally repair the frig!!! Due to numerous rescheduling from the automated system. I repeat 3 weeks. … Unacceptable … I spent a good 9 hrs of my time trying to pursue contact on the rescheduling issues, not to mention lost wages from waiting for the repair tech and then they overbooked their tech so couldn't get here. So generally notified me late in the day. I hope the repair works!!!

Issues with scheduling and install
The first issue was a replacement part that was damaged in the mail. Second issue was a scheduling error that forced a rescheduling. Third issue was the installer claimed the cabinetry around the microwave prevented him from removing the microwave from the wall forcing another rescheduling, despite my son and I taking 5 minutes to remove the microwave. Finally, my son and I had to reinstall the microwave on the wall because the tech replaced the part and left.

Missed appointment last week

Didn't want to be here
Larry was ready to leave before he even arrived . He left his van running in my driveway and assured me the repair would be finished before I needed to leave in 25 minutes. He admitted he didn't know the task he was sent to complete when I asked how long he would need. He gouged my vinyl floors with the feet of the built-in oven trying to move it by himself and proceeded to scold me loudly when he shocked himself trying the remove the burner assembly. Larry claimed we should have had the power to the unit shut off or had it unplugged when he arrived . I explained I wasn't notified of this and have never been told that in previous repairs. He needed another person (my husband or me) to hold the stovetop in order to install and uninstall the burner assembly and had us going up and down the stairs to open and close off the breakers. He was disorganized in returning the unit to finished assembly , didn't check some of the wire connections until I noticed they were hanging loose, and didn't even turn the newly replaced burner on to check it for function before he signed on a line for me . When I asked he said I didn't need to sign anything. I've never had a Sears technician like this before and I've always purchased through Sears with extended warranties. Losing Sears I'm Topeka was a sad time for me
