We had the pleasure of having one the Sears appliance technicians in our home to check out our dryer that went on the fritz recently. I say pleasure in the sense that not only is Shannon a very personable and pleasurable individual, at the same time he is extremely knowledgeable and professional. After arriving on a Saturday morning, at the time indicated, in less than an hour he had our dryer opened up, found the problem and for far less than we expected, he had the dryer back together and running! This was a great surprise considering we had already been pricing out a replacement!! We would highly recommend the Sears Home Services for appliance repair, and if you are lucky, maybe Shannon will be your technician!!

The plug on the dryer was installed wrong. I had to get an electrician to come since the tech said the outlet is drawing too much voltage.

Could not fix the simplest problem

The dryer cord was bad. Which I figured out after he refused to check much saying he's not an electrician, he said It was a house electrical issue. Which it was not, it just had a bad dryer cord. Waist of my money and time.

Tony could not replicate problem so he had no suggestions. The dryer constantly resets the time because the clothes are not drying. When it does finish the clothes are still wet. I still have no dryer.

Horrible service

A window of between 8am-5pm was given to fix my dryer which of course would require me to take the entire day off of work. No one showed until after 5:30pm. The problem with the dryer was made clear. Not only did Hector come without the appropriate part, he requested that I pay a copay without the dryer being fixed. Not sure if he needed it for his own use but to top it off he notified the home warranty company that I declined service as I wait for him to return to my home with the part for 3 days that he claimed he would return with the following day. Hector is not a great representation of Sears in any form and claims to be a lead while he sat on his phone in my laundry room talking to someone about real estate.

After numerous appointments where the tech didn't show up, l received a text today that tech arrived and work completed. So after 8 weeks dryer is still not fixed.

John came to fix the Dryer. He replaced the heating parts but did not test them. He told me that it was working, which was bad for me because I trusted him. After he left, I checked the Dryer, and it was not turned on. I called him and left a message. He did not answer; he just ignored it. I called Sears Home Services, and they told me that they could send a technician in two weeks. BAD Service and Response. I do not recommend them.
