LG repair work

Worst experience I have ever had from a repair stand point. 3 different repairman over 2 months and never was repaired. The second repairman totally ruined a new compressor with lousy welds and caught the insulation on fire. Causing soot to fly all over the house. The third Sears guy said the unit could not be repaired. So finally I called LG direct. Thanks to the LG company repairman who came and replaced everything that Sears/AE guy destroyed. After 2.5 hours of work the unit now works like new. Lesson learned don't call Sears/AE for repair work. So unhappy!

Refrigerator Repair

Freezer and fridge were at 34/45 respectively. Repair man came out. Said problem probably dusty coils. Vacuumed. Said that should fix it and he saw temp going down but would take some time. Assured me it was not compressor. Temp never changed from before he came till days later. I called 2nd repair person (not Sears) who troubleshooted the situation and found there was a faulty part that KitchenAid no longer makes. Not happy with findings, but it was an answer. Just wish Sears would have gone a little further in diagnostics to identify problem so I would not have had to call 2nd person. I did not call Sears back because would have spent more money and not confident in getting any more info. Maurio was super nice and very professional but did not thoroughly troubleshoot the problem.

I don't know what "It C"is, but it's connected to Sears Home which is the absolute worst. So zero stars for IT C and Sears Home.

Ice maker not fixed

He came and checked it and saw a few pieces of ice and said its working. Took my check and its really not working. I would not recommend him

here's the thing. while David was excellent, it took OVER a month to complete the refrigerator repair. That's not really acceptable. If any of you yourselves had to endure that, you would understand exactly what I'm saying. Being much more timely would greatly help you. Thank you.

Dryer did NOT tumble after Sears Technician left.

Patrick did a good job on servicing eight appliances on the Master Protection Agreement. However on the last one, the dryer, the belt may have fallen off from the electric motor to the clothes tumbler when the technician put the dryer back together again. Sears is a dishonorable company that fails to keep its promises to call back after hours on the phone with about 9 different people and departments. Sears service is just a runaround system to wear out people who need a call back to repair Sears mistake.

Robersy Sears Tech is Rude & Lies/ 0 STARS

Robersy has been out to our house for our GE fridge 7 times since Feb. Another tech no longer w Sears, had ordered parts. Robersy asked why a fan & touch screen were ordered. I said sometimes the touchscreen acted up and would either not respond to pushing the buttons or would respond when not touched. He said that he didn't do preventative issues and for me to take a video. He replaced the fan & it still didn't work. I called for another appt. I took a video of the touchscreen not working for him to see at that visit as told. He ordered more parts, including the touchscreen. He came back to install the new parts & made comments about how he can't keep fixing things & ordering parts. He didn't stay to see if it was cooling. Whatever happened w that repair, my refrigerator was even more broken, nothing worked or ran at all, my freezer thawed & I was recording temps in the 80's. I called Sears again &asked for another tech because he stated himself that he didn't know what else to do & couldn't keep ordering parts. Sears said I had to make another appt for repair and it would be the same tech because he is the only one to service my area. So he came out & ordered parts, a new motherboard which had been replaced the prev repair. He came out & installed that & stated to give it 24 hours before checking to see if it was getting/staying cold. I did & it still wasn't maintaining temps so I called Sears. They made appt for tech to confirm so we could qualify for the no lemon clause. He called me 8:30, morning of, asked for details & I gave. He came at 2 & refused to look at it, said because I opened it. I told him I opened it to remove the glass vinegar bottles in the way, as I always do. He said that it needed 24 hours to cool after opening, I argued that was not a functioning fridge if that's the case. He said he didn't know what else to do. I asked for supervisor involvement. He refused, left & lied on the report saying we refused service. Horrible experience!

Waste of my time & incompetent!

First of all, the Tech could not find my house. He went to the wrong address on the wrong street. He called to tell me that he was ringing the door bell but no one was answering. I assured him that he was not at the right house, so I helped him to manuver to our address. When he arrived, I explained that my freezer had varying tempertures which he verified with his temp gauge. The temp in the top two freezer shelves were fine at about 4 to 6 degrees. But the problem was in the very bottom section of the freezer which has 3 compartments. The temp in one of these 3 compartments ranges from 14 to 20 degrees which does not fully freeze food. The Tech listened for the sound of the freezer fan & concluded that because he could hear the sound of the fan, there was nothing that he could do to repair the freezer. He did not bother to pull the freezer out from the wall to check the back to try & more throughly investigate the problem. He advised me to "call Kenmore", instead. (What??##??). He said that the freezer was freezing water in all sections, even though it does not fully freeze food in all sections. He seemed to imply that I should be satisfied with this malfunction in the freezer or just call Kemore. He seemed to imply that it is good enough the way that it is working & that I should be satisfied with that. I asked him to call his supervisor, because I did not think he understood the problem nor had he sought to properly diagnosed it. He relied that he did not have a supervisor. This guy didn't seem to care & was aloof about the entire service call. He is incompetent, interacts poorly with customers, & is a very poor representive of your company.
