I am getting the run around. Christopher said there was a leak in the gas line. I had to set up a whole new repair job WITH the deductible payable because now it was a "plumbing" job as opposed to an "appliance repair job". I had to find a plumber myself. He just left and he tested for gas by spraying this bubbly solution in the lines. He said there is No leak and it's a problem with the appliance. So now I will have to spend additional of my valuable time trying to get sears to stand by their warranty services !!

Didn't fix the issue, caused a new error code

After three visits, my oven still has the same issue and now a new issue too. The technician didn't seem to have any manuals or diagrams/drawings (blue prints, one lines), didn't have any kind of troubleshooting guide, etc. He just started randomly taking things apart. He didn't really troubleshoot, just looked confounded. Ordered parts and came back another time with half the parts. Replaced that part; same issue. So ordered the other part again (that magically just didn't show up the first time—no explanation when asked), showed up the third time, installed it, same issue. He went to the van and called someone and then came back and said someone else who is a certified GE technician will call me in a day or two!!!!! Uh, I wanted the GE certified guy to start with. So he left, and now I'm getting error code F7 which I did NOT have before and was NOT an issue before. Not happy at all.

It Took FOUR MONTHS for Our Kitchen To Be Repaired!

I called Sears in February 2024 for to fix our kitchen stovetop/oven. It took too long to get an appointment for a tech to come and repair the stovetop/oven. The tech ordered parts and they did not arrive for FOUR MONTHS -- the end of June 2024. I called to complain about the lack of service and promptness and all I could reach was RUDE customer service agents in India , who could not help me and I could not understand the Indian customer service rep most of the time. The Indian customers service rep rudely hung up on me, put me on hold for long periods of time so I would give up my request and hang up, and the Indian reps gave me the run around. I spent HOURS and DAYS trying to reach someone at Sears to assist with getting our kitchen stovetop/oven fix to no avail. I have NEVER experienced such poor customers service from a company. I have been with Sears for decades and I will NOT be renewing my master service plan with Sears. Sears is unprofessional, rude, ineffective, un-attentive and just a poor excuse for a company. Sears should be ashamed at the way they treated me and my family after decades of patronizing Sears. It is clear Sears does not value our business or its customers. Therefore you will not be getting our business.

This person should not be servicing residents!!! He is rude and inconsiderate of peoples time. He prefers to sit on his phone and talk with friends then service your customers. Second time this has happened to me with the same person. I have requested that First American HOme warranty removes Sears from ANY of me claims moving forward!!!!

Why am I receiving this? NO ONCE SHOWED UP FOR THE APPOINTME

IN CASE YOU WERE NOT AWARE, RONNIE C. DID NOT SHOW UP FOR THE APPOINTMENT TODAY. SO, IN THAT CASE, ONE STAR MINUS ONE STAR OR ZERO!!! IT SEEMS THAT SOMEONE HAS MY INFORMATION AND IS USING IT FRAUDULENTLY. I DID NOT CANCEL THE ORDERED PARTS FOR MY RANGE... I DID NOT RECEIVE A SERVICE CALL FOR MY RANGE TODAY 7/24/2024. SOMEONE RESCHEDULED THE APPOINTMENT FOR 8/6/2024. THIS IS SO RIDICULOUS. IF THIS IS WHAT SEARS CALLS GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE, COUNT ME OUT. I DON'T NEED THE AGGRAVATION.

The service technician arrived and was surly, looked at the part that was provided and the model number label on the range. Then he said that the part was incomplete. He went to his van, made a phone call, came back in and again said that the part was only part of the component that was needed. He then went back to his van a second time. When he came back in, he said that he could not work on the range and then left. I later got an email with an attachment. The attachment said that there was "Pre-existing appliance damage present, floor damage present." Neither of these things are true. There is no damage to either the appliance or the floor it is sitting on. He didn't even open the range, and there is no external damage to it. The technician also forged my signature on the form to show that I acknowledged the pre-existing damage, when I didn't even know he claimed that until he left. I would rate this as zero stars if the system allowed.

GE Cafe Gas Range

Steven came out and called someone from GE to assist in diagnosis of GE Cafe gas range. Once he was told what part was needed he went to order it and told me they discontinued it and there was no option to fix (range is under 5 years old). He gave me the GE part number WB21k10154. I reached out to GE and was told that was not true and I could buy. Tried reaching back out to Steven and only communication was through call center. They rescheduled him to come back out today and then I got notification it had been canceled (no explanation). Called again and got another appointment and that one was canceled. Frustrated I called another company and they have ordered the part needed and will replace. Horrible experience

Unsuccessful Oven Repair

He did nothing! Last time he was here to make the same repairs to my oven, it's worse after he finished, with additional problems. This time, he showed up, took some pictures/video with his phone & left…no repairs!
