I have an about 12 yr of Samsung range that wouldn't hold the set temperature. The tech Kyle inspected and told me the control board definitely needed replacing and also a 2nd thermostat was likely needed but the digitally controlled thermostat couldn't be diagnosed until the control board was installed and it was likely the thermostat had also been shorted. Bad news is the thermostat is out of production and Kyle couldn't find any available online, so he gave me the option of proceeding forward with a high likelihood of the work not fixing the problem. I decided to not take the risk. Kyle gave me some great ideas for replacing the oven.
