Waited over a month and it's still hot
We paid a lot for no help. Our house is still hot. Gregory was nice but I do not feel satisfied with the overall experience and time waited.

Follow up
No call or follow up to keep me posted on work that needs to be done . 2nd time to the residence and still no repairs have been completed . Not sure what's going on between company and home warranty company

Lazy service
Our HVAC was in need of inspection as it struggles to cool our home to 72 degrees. The service guys didn't even look at the HVAC system. Instead, they checked the freon level on the outside AC unit, gave it a 1 lb. Shot and called it a day. Never even bothered to diagnose or check out the actual HVAC unit in the garage. My AC is still struggling to cool to 72 degrees. Doesn't seem to be able to get it lower than 73. Lazy lazy service. And THIS is what we are paying for? What a complete rip-off!

Tech good / Sears not so much
This AC service was generated through a choice home warranty company. First available sears appointment was 10 days after first contact. This appointment was cancelled 15 minutes before scheduled arrival, it was Friday. Next available appointment was another 10 days out. Tech arrived as expected, diagnosed problem correctly. For some reason Sears was not able to do repair. It took a week for them to tell me. Tech was good, Sears was not, choice home warranty even worse.

Hvac
Technician got here on time, he changed capacitor and ad very little of freeon, he said did not have enough, but ac stop working un 25 minutes after he left and still without ac. I

Very poor knowledge about HVAC
Technician came 12 hours late and checked in 5 minutes and stated that he can't handle the job . Leaving my existing air conditioner caps open I requested to cover the caps. Poor service and waiting to resign by sears and no one showed up or called

Useless
The tech came twice, did nothing, didn't seem to know why he was there. I called Choice Home Warranty and complained about him and Sears. I contacted Sears not to send him back and they did. I would never hire him or Sears to do anything.

Sears Service Technician
My window on Thursday 7/3/25 was between 1pm & 5pm. I received an email with an ETA of arrival between 1:24pm & 2:32pm stating technician was 1 stop away. After waiting I called service number at 3:45 and received AI customer service which was NOT helpful at all. AT 6pm I determined no one was showing. At 6:11pm Technician called and said he was 20 minutes away. After arriving, technician checked thermostat/breaker panel and took pic of AC Label. He looked at furnace and stated it was Old Low Profile Burner. The only tool he used was his cell phone. He determined that both AC & Furnace should be replaced. Following day AC was working. This was a wasted service call and I'll contact another company for a real diagnosis!
