Only real complaint is repair time - took a total of three weeks of no oven. That's a long time to repair an appliance

David was nice however I'm not sure he knew exactly what was going on with our Monogram Refrigerator. The loud nice that randomly come from (the compressor- my opinion) refrigerator couldn't not be explained. No parts were ordered and no resolution was made. Just was told to call back if I hear the noise again….

Alonso was friendly and explained what we had to do to the washer. He showed us what had happened to the clock or timer , that's why it didn't work. We had a trial run and it worked.

Very poor company communication.

It is impossible to talk to anyone live at the phone numbers listed on the webpage. There is absolutely nowhere to leave a message anywhere on the website or phone. A computer answers the phone and website and just runs you in circles trying to sell you their monthly service plan, but you can not talk to anyone nor tell anyone what is wrong with your appliance. If your problem is not on their website list of possible problems, you are not able to indicate what your problem is. The tech who shows up at your home asks you what your problem is, but then he just gives a cursory glance at the appliance and guesses what parts might be required at a very stiff price and labor charge. If you decide that the cost of repair is too high, you get charged a large call out fee. You are told you have 30 days to change your mind and decide to let them attempt to do the repair assuming the parts are correct; however there is no way to let them know you've changed your mind since the website and phone do not have the capability to take a message. How stupid is that!!!!! I will never do business with this company again!

Technician was not careful placing burner grates on polished stainless steel grill cover. Needed to borrow tools and carburetor cleaner. Left greasy paper towels on counter. Not very communicative. Was unable to fix drip tray issue. Fixed non-igniting burner.

Gave bad advice and didn't fix

Technician came to install new ice maker that previous technician had ordered. He stated that I didn't need a new ice maker, all I need to do was unplug my fridge/freezer and let it thaw out. Did so, wasting a lot of food that didn't fit in coolers, but it didn't work. It's now over 2 months later and still have yet to have a fix as Sears technicians keep canceling my appointments. They've taken my money and haven't repaired. Impossible to get any sort of resolution.

The tech arrived, performed the replacement. We tested the water dispenser. It worked. He then left, after giving me the instruction to run a gallon of water through the lines. He left. I followed his instructions. Water started leaking from the refrigerator. I called the tech. He told me he used the old connector, and didn't have a new one on his truck. I was told to call Assurant and request a recall. Meanwhile I have a refrigerator leaking water all over my floor. Not at all pleased.

Eugenio the tech was on time, gentle and knowledgeable. He fixed one leak under the fridge and the other leak in the ice maker needs new parts. He checked the part online and notified me that this part is unavailable. He said he will also notify the American Shield that the bad ice maker part is not available. I rate him 5 of 5. Thank you.

The technician was unfamiliar with built in refrigerators and could not attempt repair. Seems like with the model and serial # the company should have known what they were dealing with and either should not have scheduled or cancelled as soon as they knew!

Poor service

I had difficulty understanding him, he made no effort to self, the problem, and then gave me an estimate for almost $900 to replace the electric circuit board. When I told him I would not do it, he suggested turning the breaker on and off – that seem to solve the problem– I resent that he tried to sell me on a expensive fix before trying the simple one.
