No show no call
It is awful tech never showed up or called not one time but 2 separate appt. I had to stay home, cancel and reschedule appts to accommodate the tech so I had to stay home between 8am-5pm. Wasting my time. My time is just as important as the tech.

Not complete
Andrew was able to turn my stove on yesterday (12/13/23) and then he left my home. Before he left, he turned the oven on and set it at 350 degrees and said that I could then turn it off when it reached 350 degrees. I wanted to turn it off, but it wouldn't turn off. I then called Choice Warranty again to have Andrew back asap. I have propane Gas for cooking, and it would not turn off. The stove became hotter than it usually does even to touch. So, I had a friend come over to help me pull my stove out so I would unplug it. I still do not have a stove use. Choice tells me today that I have to get sears tech back. All of this has then a big jock. I have not been able to cook or bake since 11/18/23!

Cooktop repair
1. He did not check the parts first. After opening everything, said the parts are not the right ones. 2. He left all the open boxes on my kitchen table without asking. 3. Left the place dirty. 4. Did not complete the job. 5. Was disrespectful.

Service mixup
Call was placed for oven repair. Somehow cooktop was selected on a computer screen. Tech left without looking at our oven. Choice Home had to assign to a different company because A&E and Choice Home could not get computers to talk and could not bother to call each other. Nice no oven and thanksgiving in a few days

Oven repair, Choice Home Warranty
I am deeply disappointed in the visit yesterday (11/14/23). I was not able to talk to a technician prior to the visit. It would have been very helpful if someone had contacted me to discuss the issue and they would have been more educated about the issue. I knew the issue was likely the igniter part for the oven, but could have provided the information (more in-depth symptoms, model make and number, etc) that the tech could have been more prepared for the service call and had the part with him in order to make repairs more efficiently. It is my understanding that igniters are a pretty common problem. So this process (and not being able to reach anyone via phone for more discussion) has caused the oven to not be repaired - and more inconveniently - just as the holiday is approaching. Additionally, i had to sit here at the house beginning at 8am until his arrival - at 2pm. I could have run errands in the morning prior to his visit. The time range given to me was 8am -5pm - which is UNACCEPTABLE!! I had hopes that the warranty company would have chosen to use a more local contractor, but this one came from Richmond. In short, i will never knowingly use this contractor again. If rated, i would say 1 star out of 4.

JennAir Slide-in Right front burner not working
Took 5 trips by so-called technicians, 1st trip tech ordered parts, 2nd scheduled trip - no show from tech, third trip -wrong part (burner switch) ordered, 4th trip switch replaced but burner still not working. 5th trip- advised tech and 2 others that flex duct from downdraft exhaust needed to be disconnected in order to pull slide-in range out, tech was indignant and threatened to leave. Had a cleaning crew drop something on glass top corner a few years back which I replaced myself. With continued suggestions for sliding range out they (3 techs showed up) finally got the glass top off to change burner. Sears so-called techs are nothing more than parts changers without even breaking out a volt/ohm meter to check for voltages or resistance reading for the coil. All they are are glorified parts changers. Not ever calling on Sears or A&E services, they are amateurs who don't do actual diagnostics - they just order parts which is mostly guess work that the parts ordered will fix the problem without any diagnostics with a volt or ohm meter. Review would be zero stars as this process took a month to conclude.

Range oven finally repaired
It took 4 weeks for your company to compete the service request with numerous cancelations from your company with no notice. A couple of no call, no show ups. Unable to speak to anyone personally when cancelations occurred or rescheduled. The tech was fine when he showed up. Not great customer service.

Cooktop repair
Terrible!!! On September 27th-Sears tech came to troubleshoot and repair the defective cooktop but concluded it was electrical problem. I had to request and wait for AHS to dispatch an Electrical company (MAE DAE ELECTRIC, LLC to come check it for October 11th, 2023 but their diagnosis revealed no problem with electrical. AHS recalled Sears again to check it. This time they said they don't service Ikea brand (brand name wasn't visible but could've been re-verified on first visit)-I am now told, an appliance contractor, AMERICAN EXPRESS APPLIANCE SERVICE who said will come to check it out on October 27, 2023 leaving us without cook top for over a month Instead of replacing the defective item. Very disappointed with the Sear too technicians w/ vague recommendation. This comment will be posted on social media

4 different techs, 3 months and 1 still inoperable stove
Steven was fine, but we have had 4 people come out and try to fix this stove and its still broke. We purchased this home and the warranty was transferred to us and this has been nothing but a waste of our time. 4 techs couldnt fix this. We told Steven just to close it out and we will buy another stove
