Beginning June 2, 2020, Sears has made 3 appointments for technicians to come to my home for refrigerator repairs. 1st one did nothing except take a photo of the model number on my refrigerator & said "I'll send another technician." Another technician came the next day. He did not address the problem (need for new gaskets) but did clean under the fridge. But he raised the fridge front while working on it & did not lower it again before he left. SO the doors & freezer drawer closed when we tried to get items out. He was supposed to order them that day. NEVER DONE! On 6/22 another technician came. I asked what he was going to do but "he had no assigned task." I did manage to have him lower the fridge. So on 6/27 a 3rd technician was to come BUT HE NEVER SHOWED UP & DIDN'T CALL. How does the company doing business as Sears even stay in business. The 2 technicians that showed up on 6/5 and 6/22 did not appear to have any training for this work.

They keep selling a year plan and I only want my refridge for water to dispense. The plan will cost me more than 20 times more the cost of fixing the refridge which I probably will never use. I waited four hours for the repairman to come and never arrive. I called the dispatcher (had to play to guess which number to choose). The repairman called and told me that he is 5 minutes away and told me that if I don't add another $30.00 to the phone agreed price of $169.00 then he will not come. I don't think these really is the good old Sears that we are accustomed to dealing with. It seems that when Sears have gone bankrupt they sold their brand name to the highest bidder and we're not dealing with the actual Sears anymore but just the name. What does Sears got to loose by this time.

They don't have a repair department. 45 mins on phone with customer service; another 10 or so in chat on website; drove to Sears; no repair department at that location. Wow.

We asked for a dryer repair. We were given an estimate of $376.88 for replacing a part of value $12.42. We asked them what the options were and who can we talk to. This seems an outrageous amount of money for replacing a small part. Tech had no idea how to escalate or how to explain the total for repairing a part of that value for the total money. We can understand the trip fee but not trip fee were discussed beforehand and/or what is the cost to do diagnostics vs repair. Sear's labor cost shows $330.20 for less than a 30 min job for which tech never left the building. We tried to contact Sears via Facebook to try to resolve it with them and never got a response. Trying to call them to resolve didn't help much either. If you want to use Sears service for repair, please ensure to get all these details of trip fee vs diagnostics vs actual fee.

Our dishwasher failed last July 2020. A tech came out and isolated the problem. He ordered the part and charged us for it. After many phone calls we were told the part was no longer available so we canceled the order. Our money was refunded in October after several more calls. Now the part shows up in January 2021 and the store doesn’t accept the part. More phone calls and still trying to get instructions about returning the part. Be prepared to spend a lot of time on the phone.

Parts cost more than buying a new machine. Nothing is stocked locally anymore, adding on a shipping charge as well.

Unfortunately yes. They charged me $690+, sold me a Home Service Warranty at $50/mo, then FAILED miserably to repair the item. It wasn't working when they left and still is not cooling. They replaced a compressor and other parts. The tech made excuses saying it would take a few hours to cool and might start leaking in a couple weeks (which he said is normal). Just BS for a bad job. Now, they are coming back out to fix their bad workmanship and tried to sell me another $50 for stovetop cleaning (just to cover their expense), then they had the gall, to say there would be a $169 service fee. WORST SERvICE EVER. Can't talk to a human. All they have are BOTS running the software, for support. Cannot recommend. IMPOSSIBLE to reach a human.

Their phone tree is a joke. Hangs up on you routes you all over can not get a person I have their warranty but never again. Spent over an hour trying to get through because I have an outstanding order

Did not repair my LG refrigerator ice maker after 5 attemptsReplaced the ice maker three times and made five trips and never fixed the ice maker and now I do not get routed to the correct department when I call.
