Overpriced, $150 to diagnose, replaced a $10 part in 15 minutes of work, $400 total. I would have preferred they offered to sell me a new oven

Was able to diagnose issue but not able to replace part. Left it up to me to get an OEM part from a 3rd party and install myself. I also had them do a preventative check on the washer and they did not do much other than take off the front panel and check for leaks. I asked the tech to check the filter and he did. I wouldn’t say it is worth the cost.

They came out to fix a problem with our washer because the water wasn't draining all the way after a cycle. After the repair technician left our washer no longer holds any water. Fail.

Our dishwasher was not receiving power. In an effort to fix it, my spouse pulled it out of the wall partially and took apart the spinners. When the repair man came, he identified the issue with the power as a plug or circuit was out. He fixed that, and fixed the spinner but left the unit unattached in the wall. I am disappointed that he did not fix that, as the washer is now unstable and no longer appropriately attached. The costs to replace the switch caused the entire visit to be over double the estimate.

Service Tech was nice but our ice maker is still not working, first appointment was on 9/10 - ordered parts, 9/20 install parts - new ice maker and mother board over $300 in parts and the ice maker never works. Call to have them come back out next appointment is 10/4! this is not great service at all.

I have had Sears out twice now and already paid over $300 in parts and labor to have my control board fixed, but it is still not working. Another part ordered today. First technician didn't even know how there was a programming mode associated with replacing a control board, the second tech today knew about it, but didn't have the proper procedure for my model. I still have not been able to find someone with access to the service manual for my model. We'll see if this part fixes it (I doubt it will, as many DIY websites say this part typically isn't the problem, but just like the first tech, this second tech said, "this is definitely, 100% sure the problem...").

Scheduled for 8am - 12 noon window for washing machine repair - leaking hose. Supposed to get SMS updates on tech arrival. It's 1pm and have heard nothing. Called and had to 'talk' with AI 'Samantha' who kept telling me my appointment was on Tuesday, January 7th. Guess what?? This year, 2026, the 7th falls on Wednesday. Today. Asked 'Samantha' to speak with a human being and 'she' said she had the same information the human beings had. Ha! 'She' doesn't know what day it is. I'm done. What a crock!
