WORST SERVICE EVER. Had a technician come out to repair our ice maker on 4/9. Said they needed to order the ice maker and would be out in a week and a half. Had to pay for everything up front and now I can't get anyone to come back out a month later to finish the repair. Spent WAY too much time on the phone with customer service trying to get someone out. Avoid Sears for any repair. All they seem interested in, is trying to sale me a warranty. That's a HARD NO.

The absolute worst customer service literally no way to talk to a person scheduled my appointment numerous times the first one 2 AM is when they scheduled it the next one the guy just showed up unannounced. The third one was after the parts were ordered. No one showed up for the repair I took the whole day off for this he says it’s two circuit boards they add up to $290. He says it’ll be $1100. Absolutely do not recommend these people their automated phone system is absolutely the worst if there’s a problem, there’s nothing you can do Mike Stevens 5/2/24 Sears responded back, asking me to explain this by going to Facebook and explaining it I don’t have a Facebook account in here in lies the problem Maybe seers should post a phone number where a human will answer it and I can call them and explain this ridiculous service they provided I would be more than happy to give them a good review when this problem is resolved I just don’t have any hope for that

We made online refrigerator repair at WS home and we agreed to paid $139 to have a technician came to diagnose. When this technician, David came to our place and look at the situation and quoted me $273.42 for labour charges to replace the part since we already had the part on hand. I agreed to the quote since I thought it must be a difficult job to do. However, David finished the Job within 10 minutes. That's an abusive quote since David knew how easy to replace the part but still quoted me $273.42! Don't use Sears anymore. Their charges are abusive. Before agreeing to an expensive repair be sure to ask how long the job will take! If I could give zero stars, I would. Thank you for Sears' response. However, I don't have Facebook a/c to discuss further. If Sears is sincere to amend its abusive charges, please issue a credit for $100 to my credit card or issue a check and mail it to my address in your system. Thank you for your consideration.

This company is terrible. All they do is to get you to sign a warranty with them. When it comes to repair, they send an incompetent technician. The technician is there to collect the deductible. He gives you bunch of lip service and leaves. Good luck if you want to cancel your service. We had to call every day to cancel the warranty. Their excuse was that their system was down. They didn’t even bother to call us to follow up. Even when we called back, they charged us another $100 to schedule another visit. Run , and run away from this company. Go to better business bureau to see the true ratings.

Needed a technician's report for an insurance claim. I stated this need when I made the initial appointment. Technician came out, saw the problem was the cracked water filter that I already knew (fridge leaked and flooded my downstairs). Tech placed a new filter (that I already owned) in the housing and connected the water line to the hot water. Of course it worked, he then charged me "labor" for about 30 seconds of work that was incorrect because I had to disconnect from hot water after he left (he also stated that he wasn't charging for labor). That was 2/1 and it is now 2/6 and I have yet to receive the diagnostic report. It is impossible to get a person on the phone unless you are scheduling a new appointment and even then, I constantly get dropped. Do not use this service. I wanted a simple diagnostic report that should have been $139 and was charged $248 with NO ITEMIZED BILL. Call a local company, this is a complete waste of time and money. Updated 2/12: I followed the suggestion to contact them via Facebook and got the same runaround as in the chat feature on the website. Only after filing a dispute for the charges with my cc company did I get a phone call from a real person and the itemized receipt. The CSR I spoke with did not have all the information and was unaware that the tech had connected the refrigerator line to the hot water. I'm still waiting on a decision from them regarding the refund of the labor fee. It took a week of daily messages to finally get the report I was promised within 24 hours. Their customer service is sorely lacking.

I purchased a Hoover vacuum cleaner with an extended 5-year warrantee. What a joke. It took me several calls to find out the Kent repair location closed and Federal Way said come there to get paperwork and then to UPS to ship it myself. They finally said go to First Ave South, Seattle, location to get it serviced. I called Seattle before going and was told by nice person, Nick, to contact my closest UPS store and they probably would know what to do. After calling, I took the vacuum to UPS and they shipped it to Tennessee for servicing on March 3. I live in Washington. On March 19 I got a voice mail on my home number (I told them to call my cell) saying it was ready and being shipped back-No tracking number. I called many times to 18004myhome-no help. Finally was given an 888 number to call-on hold two times, second time for 20 min 19 seconds before giving up. Finally called Westfield Sears store and told them to find it! Syed said would do it and call me in 1 to 2 hours. Three days later I had not heard so called again. Heather was a life saver and found my vacuum at their pick up at Westfield on March 26. Twenty-three days after taking to UPS I found my vacuum and now I have to go there to pick it up. Absolutely rotten procedure for maintenance and even worse service overall. The 800 number on this review request is not the same as the one I was given by 18004myhome.

It took 3 mos(3 visits) to get bbq grill fixed when it could have taken only one visit with replacement grill. The cost of repair was more than grill original cost. Good thing I have warranty.
