Can’t get a damn person on the phone. It goes to automation and refuses to give me actual access to a live person who can answer a stupid question. Never trying Sears again. This is why y’all are going out of business.

This is the 3rd time a technician has been out to change a lightbulb and was NOT properly equipped!!! How do you come to change a lightbulb without the replacement switch and bulb!!! Did i mention 3 times!!! rocco

For many years I have depended on Sears Appliance Repair. But Sears Home Services has canceled 3 of my appointments within the last month. With no reason at all.

Sadly I would NOT recommend Sears appliance repair program. After waiting three weeks for an appointment and then at 3 PM having them tell me someone was on the way, they automatically rescheduled me for the week following. Once my appointment time came, the repair guy did not do anything to the dishwasher. My dishwasher the last few months has not been washing properly and he said it was clean the Clean and nothing needed to be done. He suggested I run my kitchen sink faucet to get the water warm first which I did after he left and it did nothing. He also suggested I use a rinse aid and powder detergent, which I already do. Ultimately, my dishwasher is still not cleaning the dishes properly and I wasted $99!

I had a scheduled appointment canceled 10 minutes after the close of the 1pm-5pm window closed. The appointment was rescheduled and canceled twice more after arranging my days around the so-called arrival windows. I get numerous emails and text messages reminding me of my appointments, announcing an ETA which changes every 40 minutes or so, or the tracking system indicating the technician is 3 stops away, only to receive a text message AFTER the close of the scheduled arrival window cancelling and rescheduling my appointment. My time is valuable but Sears apparently doesn't agree. This is AWFUL customer service. I'm fortunate my service was for preventive maintenance and not for a repair. When I called to schedule the preventive maintenance service, the representative offered a preventive maintenance contract that would cover all 5 of my appliances. Why in the world would I be interested in that after the experience I have with the coverage of one appliance. That would be my past experience times FIVE!!!

Such a complete scam. Steven, our tech was excellent. Everything else about the experience, from the phone operator being more concerned about trying to upsell us a whole home warranty than get the details of our problem right, to them continuing to text and call the wrong phone number about arrival for repairs, to arriving nearly 2 hours late then not honoring the warranty despite the broken part AND charging what amounts to $30/minute for a 20 minute repair was just disgusting business. Don't call the number, even if you have a warranty--they don't care, just call a local independent.

UPDATE: ITS BEEN OVER 2 MONTHS AND THEY STILL WONT GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK. WORST COMPANY EVER!! It's been 4 weeks and 3 no show appointments to fix a stove light that they charged me $380 in advance to do! 🚨 Once you book an appointment you can't even get a person anymore because they lock your phone number to the order. If you call on another number you get a person in 3 seconds for new business. Then they transfer you to appointment servicing that takes no less than an hour to answer. Idk how they have positive reviews. At this point I just want my money back. It will probably take me hours to do that. UPDATE: Nice copy and paste reply. You don't care at all!
