Did require 2 technician visits to fix the problem. First technician mis-diagnosed the issue which resulted in pre payment for parts and a 2nd visit. 2nd technician fixed the issue and refunded the parts .. but this should have been fixed during the 1st visit so we didn’t have to incur an additional technician visit ..

Paid $350 for Sears to replace a $60 ice maker in my Fridge. It took him 10 minutes. I'm relieved that the ice maker is now working properly, but I won't be hiring Sears again.

The technician was great!! I used sears home service on February 16. I called them today April 6th to report that the same issue is happening with my washer again and their answer was 'you have to schedule and pay again because the 30 day warranty expired.' I asked them if the new part was bad, and again they told me the warranty or 30 days warranty is expired. I paid over $700.00 dollars and they expected me to schedule again, for what? To get the same answer in a couple of months. No, thanks.

We have been rescheduled once after waiting from 2-5, then no call no show after being told 30 minutes out, and today still not here and we’re out of the time window. There’s no way to contact anyone. It’s all automated. Only call I received was sears trying to sell me a warranty. Makes you wonder if it’s just a scam

TWO no call no shows by sears now after the first technician came to the house and guessed what was wrong without removing a single cover or piece of the washing machine. I replaced the part they said was the issue and we still have leaking. Now we will be looking elsewhere for support.

The Sears Technician was great. The bad part was how expensive Sears wanted to charge me. Sears was over 2x times what I was able to get the part replaced the very next day. I already new what the problem was and the 2 possible parts that it could be based on looking up the error code. I also was not charged an Diagnostic fee with the second Serviceman. To Sears You will never get my business again. Enjoy what you got!

Had a confirmed appointment Sat 12/13 between 1-5 pm. Received multiple confirmation emails day before and day of. At 3 pm they cancel the appointment. Now I have to wait 6 weeks for the next available appt.

Absolutely terrible customer service! I had a service window from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Friday October 3rd. The appointment was confirmed several times. At 5:00 p.m. which was the close of the appointment window I received an automated message informing me that I needed to reschedule due to a 'staffing irregularity'. I took off a half a day from work to accommodate the technician's arrival. I lost a half a day's pay for nothing. I gave them a one-star rating because I couldn't give this review without at least giving one star. I will tell everybody that I know not to use Sears Appliance Repair. My family is now without the use of our washing machine and it is going to be a few days before we can get another company to come out to make an effective diagnosis and or repair. The bad part is is that their entire system is artificial intelligence. There is no making contact with a human in any way shape or form. The address given on Google maps is not even the correct address. It is the vacant Sears store in the Towne Mall. It is not exactly Sears Appliance Repair. They are vendors. There is no way to make direct contact. DO NOT TRUST ANY COMPANY THAT USES AI. THEY ARE DISREPUTABLE AND AVOID ACCOUNTABILITY. UPDATE: I am not giving you a chance to make it right. You had one chance and you dropped the ball.
