When the repairman came to look at our ice maker, he did not even unhook anything or attempt to see what was wrong. He literally opened our freezer, took out the ice bin, and told me it needed replaced. What a joke.

Received a denial from our home warranty company due to the tech saying it was mismatched equipment…. Had another company come out for a second opinion. After a thorough inspection the compressor was bad, however, it was not due to mismatched equipment. The coil was the correct one for the outside unit, so now I have to pay out of pocket due to my home warranty taking his word on the wrongly diagnosed piece of equipment. Don’t use sears or cinch for your home warranty unless you want a wrong diagnoses resulting in a warranty denial.

The technician was fine however the 8 to 5 window not even being narrowed down the night or morning if service it not acceptable. I have a job. This was terribly inconvenient and NOT good customer service.
