Can I give negative stars? Been without my ice maker for the better part of the year now. Have had to buy my ice through this very hot summer. They've been out 3 times and haven't fixed the problem. They ordered parts to be sent directly to my house and on the day of my appointment (which was an absolute waste of my day) I call to make sure they are still coming and they say we are still waiting for parts to be delivered. I say, I have all the parts. Shouldn't you know when the parts are delivered? So now, no one has been assigned to my appointment? Very unprofessional. How about now you can reimburse me for all the ice I've had to buy since April. And if you can't fix it give me a brand new fridge.
Customer service response - We apologize for the trouble you've faced, Nikki. This is not the experience we want for our customers. Please contact us at searshomeservices.com or call 1-800-469-4663 so we can assist you further. Thank you for your patience.

Each of the technicians that have been at my home have been pleasant and professional. I would not want a negative rating to reflect on the people I have dealt with. I do believe they are doing the best they can with a VERY broken system. To repair my dishwasher, what ended up being one broken hose that went to the upper arm, my elapsed time was MORE THAN 2.5 months. Most of which were due to appointments being scheduled and then on the day of the appointment being rescheduled, often 2 weeks out. I called for each of these scheduled appointments days before the appointment and was assured that the system was updated and the Tec will be here, only to hear that the appointment was rescheduled due to not receiving parts (which I called and told them I had received them) or "personal emergencies" or for no provided reason at all. One of my greatest frustrations is every time I would call complaining about the amount of time it is taking to fix my dishwasher or other appliances, I would get the canned script that we notice that you do not have our whole house warranty, we can offer you a great price on it. My response, would you sign up for coverage for your furnace/Fridge/Freezer etc, if the vendor has a history (this 2 month issue has also happened on my clothes washer/dryer several times) of extended amounts of time getting something fixed? I am done with Sears and the Master Maintenance agreement. This contract ends next month. I will NOT be renewing. I will tell everyone I can that their system is broken and that having a maintenance program with Sears, for me has been much more of an issue than it has been worth. I remember when working with Sears was my default. My clothes washer and Dryer, my dishwasher all came from Sears. After this last debacle, only one of many, related to getting my dishwasher fixed I will NEVER use Sears maintenance nor purchase (not sure that I can) any additional appliances from Sears. I am giving this a 1 star but again, I am hoping that this does not reflect on the tec's I believe they are doing the best they can in a broken system, my 1 (would be a -10 if it was possible) is related to the system the tech's must work within.
Customer service response - Your excellent rating made our day! Thank you for choosing Sears Appliance Repair, and we hope your positive experience with our Appliance Repair service leads you to recommend us to friends and family.

I’m so incredibly frustrated with this horrible service I’ve received from Sears. Repair person comes out and is very nice and “fixes” dryer, which costs over $500. Less than 24hrs and upon my first use of the dryer since it’s been “fixed” it turns on, seems to be working but then suddenly makes terrible noises and turns off and won’t turn on again. Display lights up but it clearly was not fixed properly and Sears is completely useless because they can’t send someone out to fix whatever they did to break it for over 2 weeks??!! Like you’re kidding me right? You take my money and now leave me hanging with two loads of wet laundry and “nothing we can do about it”. So frustrated will never use Sears repair service ever again!!
