Technician was great, answered questions, did his work effectively, efficiently and pleasantly.
Suzanne W,
Service tech arrived 90 minutes than estimated time provided. Tech could not solve the problem, did not appear knowledgeable about the product. He could not explain payment options and seemed unclear regarding how payment would work for an additional visit. The part was not available through his app. I ended up having to order it on my own and he could not confirm how or if he could come back to install. He instilled no confidence that he understood the issue or knew what he was doing. This was a terrible experience and I will never use this company again. I paid $129 and got nothing .

Service techs (two on different days on same repair) were fine. Everything else about Sears Home Services was terrible. The near total reliance on artificial intelligence (which isn't very intelligent, such as seeking same information several times) is insulting to someone with appointment issues. The company needed two weeks from my first call to arrive, only to need to order a part and reschedule two weeks later, Then AI mistakenly marked the second visit as completed when it never occurred and online listing showed it still scheduled. After online search on how to talk to a human being (because AI couldn't deal with issue) we spoke with someone overseas who, while difficult to understand and who had problems understanding issue, eventually admitted company error. We were rescheduled for almost two weeks later but, at 11 a.m. on day of appointment, received a text saying appointment was being canceled because of "unforeseen circumstances." We again rescheduled, this time only five days later. When repair tech arrived, he had no idea about the problem, that it already had been diagnosed, the part ordered and delivered, and the repair paid for in full. After speaking with supervisor (I assume because conversation was done away from me in work van), tech returned and completed repair. Other irritant was company effort to sell a home warranty -- twice by two different people. After I literally had to repeat several times that I was not interested, the woman hung up on me. The second time, the person ended the call with a feigned "have a blessed day." After my experiences with the company's lack of customer service (other than the long-awaited actual repair) you could offer me a full, lifetime warranty for no charge and I would reject it because I never want to deal with Sears Home Services again.

Wish I could give zero stars! I took off a day from work to sit here from 8-5pm and they never called or showed up! I made the appointment weeks ago and they confirmed it multiple times!
