It took 2 weeks to get an appointment and then the “window” to be home for the tech was 8-5. That’s unheard of. Should be a 4 hour window max. The techs are always polite, professional, and happy to explain what they’re doing/have done.

I was charged $503.00, but the spincycle on washer still not operating properly just hrs after repair. I called Sears Home Service (SHS) back 4hrs after repairman left and was told by the AI they could send someone, but if diagnostic was different than previous diagnostic it would cost more money. I could not get past the AI to speak with someone about my issue. SHS AI diagnosed the issue, I should not be expected to incur additional costs when the issue was not diagnosed correctly from the beginning… I don’t plan to use SHS ever again and will share my experience with everyone I know.

The problem was not fixed. It's still making the same noises. The belt that was supposedly replaced doesn't look worn or dirty. It looks brand new. I wonder if it was actually replaced at all.

Technician came out for initial appointment and diagnosed issue with fridge. I took a half day at work for them to not show up for the appointment to enact the repair and then tell me they couldn't come due to staffing changes. Fine, stuff happens. It then happens a second time, this time over half an hour after the 4-hour time window. This is not acceptable. I don't mind if you're gonna take a couple weeks to get out and do the repair, but tell me the date and time and just do it. I'm not a picky customer, I'm not making them hurry or demanding a discount. I just want a set appointment, for them to show up, do the work, let me pay, and move on. I've called this a wash and just am going to purchase a new appliance, but their phone service has no option to speak to a person to explain the situation and settle anything I owe them. The best you have is an AI "assistant" over text to cancel the appointment, and anything else it just directs you to their equally useless website. I'm not sure how I'm supposed to pay for the diagnostic fee, and move on when I can't even talk to a person to carry any of this out. Do not use this company, it's not worth the hassle dealing with a company that doesn't even have the bare minimum decency of having a way to speak to a person built into their phone tree or not showing up the second time you've scheduled your repair. Now I'm out a full day of time off at work and don't know if I'm going to get a company jumping down my throat over parts they had to order or other nonsense because all I can do is cancel the appointment and literally nothing else.

I put in request to have washer lid lock repaired with actual item num needed. Tech showed up without part I guess so they could charge for diagnostic. Then scheduled to come following week. They cx via email stating part not rcd. However, already rcd part via fed ex. So why they didn't call me. Then they reschedule for following wk and on day of get email stating rescheduled per my request, but I didn't cx. They reschedule following wk and no show. I finally reach live person and was told didn't have a tech and still had to wait. I end up paying $150 to go laundry, which had to pay someone $50 to take me and carry laundry, because im disabled. It finally got done today. He fixed lock lid, but left washer scratched up and lid loose. No one offered me a partial refund or even mere credit. THEY SUCK!

I feel completely ripped off by the service. A technician came and told me there was no electricity in the outlet. He said the dryer was fine. I had to call an electrician to verify the information, and it turned out he was wrong...there was electricity! I called to complain, and after insisting, they told me the second visit would be free. The second technician didn't do anything except confirm that there was indeed electricity in the wall outlet, and then he tried to sell me a service plan. He then told me the dryer needed a $300 control panel...all without even inspecting it! And now they want to charge me for a service that wasn't even performed. It's a total scam, even though everything is recorded and documented. I would never recommend this service.

Paid $470 dollars for ice maker repair which looks like they didn’t even troubleshoot just replaced a part and have to come again because that didn’t work and want $130 dollars more for another diagnostic. However this is resolved I will not ever be using them again. Ok you say to contact you to resolve but how exactly am I to do that with your automated phone line which gives no options.

Technician knew absolutely nothing about a refrigerator. Was called out to fix water draining into bottom of freezer and adjust the door which both problems were due to previous technician poor work. Stated he had never adjusted door, stated he put the fill hose in icemaker because previous technician had knocked it out. Looks like water is still draining into bottom of freezer. Stated he could not call anyone and that the company had cut his text off. Will be trying to appeal the credit card payment for the original work and reporting to better business bureau. Been three weeks without a working refrigerator. Found screw that was missing from rear of refrigerator from original work.
