This was the worse experience I’ve ever had with a repairman. My dishwasher wasn’t working, so I call Sears appliance Repair. First, a repairman diagnosed the problem with my dishwasher as a defective switch. We paid $416.35 and the repairman ordered the switch. We received the switch and the repairman came back to install the new switch. That didn’t resolve the issue. He said that the new switch was also defective and he ordered another one. The second switch came and it was installed by the repairman. That didn’t correct the problem. The repairman then said the dishwasher’s board was defective and I would have to pay ~$380 to replace it. The total cost to repair the machine would have cost over $800. I asked the repairman if I could speak with his supervisor. He said he didn’t have a supervisor. He gets his instructions via AI. I asked he what he did when he an a problem. He said he discussed it with another repairman. I asked him for a number to call Sears. He said he doesn’t have a number. I asked him for his Sears ID. He said he does not have a Sears ID. I asked him where his paycheck came from. He said he did not know; it just come in the mail. Bottomline, I purchased a new dishwasher for $568 plus $129 five year service plan. The cost of the new machine is less than what Sears want to charge me to repair my old machine. Word to the wise, think carefully before you can Sears. I am currently disputing the $416 charge with my credit card company.

Unacceptable experience. Broken refrigerator still after 600$ service call. Wait around all day for no one to show up. Can’t actually communicate with anyone because it’s all an automated system. Also the number they listed below and said to give them a call is an automated system that doesn’t allow you to speak to ANYONE nor make a complaint. I’ve filed a complaint with the BBB and disputed the transaction on my card.

No idea any the unit. No idea about how to talk to customer. I would not send him to do service anywhere unit he learn about his work and how to dress properly.

Absolutely unacceptable experience. They texted me several times to confirm my oven repair appointment, so I took off work and waited the entire 8 AM–5 PM window and no one ever showed up. I even called the company multiple times in the middle of the day to see if there would be a more accurate or updated time frame other then the 9 hour one they provided previously, but could only get in contact with their automated system which kept saying my appointment was still confirmed for 8 AM–5 PM. After sitting around all day, I finally called my warranty company after the quoted time had passed (and sat on hold forever) only to find out the technician had canceled due to “unforeseen circumstances.” If that was the case, they should’ve had the decency to communicate that. I wasted an entire day because of their complete lack of communication and professionalism.

Horrible!!! Was given three different days and timeframes for LG appliance to be looked at. Every day it was the same with no call or text and appointment being cancelled. When you chat or call you’re told they just didn’t have a technician available. Then why waste my time and give me this eight hour timeframe for nothing?! Would never follow through and call or give information and then told LG they did service call when they never did!!!

The technician left with the dishwasher still malfunctioning, after changing me 130 dollars. The customer service is horrible, completely AI with no real people to resolve issues. A second appointment was made so the dishwasher can be repaired and they canceled on me. The technician ghosted me . This is the worst service experience I’ve ever had.

I am very upset. First time I contacted GE services for my GE Monogram refrigerator, was May 21st and I got a same day appointment. The tech, Ron, came out and charged over 300 dollars for defrosting the freezer section of the refrigerator. He said that it should hopefully be good. The following week, I called back to inform the service center that the problem did not get any better. May 29th, Ron came back and ordered mother board WR55X11130 and rescheduled for June 14th install date, and said they may call for an earlier appointment if the part comes in early. They did text to schedule for June 11thsince the part in fact came earlier than expected. On June 11th in the afternoon, I received a text saying, “due to unforeseen circumstances, we have to reschedule and the earliest is June 26th”. Things happen and I get that, another work vacation day burned. Today, after burning another work vacation day, I received a text saying, “due to unforeseen circumstances, we have to reschedule and the earliest is July 22nd”. I am frustrated and been without a fridge for over a month at this point, don’t want to wait another month and burn another vacation day to have it rescheduled again. I am my father’s caretaker, and I’ve had to reschedule some of his appointments, he has cancer and 70 years old. I have also had to throw out food. Today, I looked behind the panel of the mother board and it looks different than the one I received in the mail. My Manual says my part number is WR55X10433. After looking at GE parts site, it indicates that part number WR55X10560 is the correct replacement part for the one I currently have in my fridge which is WR55X10433. Now I am more concerned that if the wrong part was ordered, and as many times that we have had to reschedule, will we need to order a different part and reschedule? Will my fridge ever work again this year? I am very very upset. How can someone get a same day first service appointment, but not get the correct part and not get a sooner install appointment?
