Terrible, mostly AI generated, parts are 3-4x average price. Once you start a booking no one will reach out you are stuck with a computer till service date. Do not recommend!

Horrible!!!! Had tech come out and we paid $484 to set up appointment for work to be completed on washer. Wife took off half day to be home for appointment. Nobody ever showed and received text that nobody was in area to complete work. We received text an hour after end of appointment time. Set up another appointment and same thing occurred. We tried to call several numbers and could never get ahold of anyone. Even went to location on Westport road. Business there now said Sears hasn't been at that location for a long time. Spent $140 at laundry mat during this time. I ended up watching video on YouTube and my son and I repaired. Trying to get my money back from this scam. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!

Second appointment ended like the first with unknowledgable technician leaving without fixing the unit or communicating next step. The intrusive AI assistant is primarily designed to keep the customer from speaking to an actual human. Giving them a 3rd chance would be the definition of insanity.

We have a manufacturer 25 year warranty on our Speed Queens- washer and dryer. Dryer needed a heating element fixed. No questions were asked (everything is AI) about a warranty. Technician came out and no questions were asked to my 80 year old dad. They charged 600.00! Called them when I found out and continued to tell me that all of the issues were on our end. That we need to wait 3 days to call back and try to get everything cancelled. I will never go with a “bigger” company ever. Mom and pops are the only way to go!

My technician was very nice, but the issue is persisting after repair. This is the 4th or 5th time we’ve had someone unsuccessfully try to repair what seems like a very common typical (squeaking dryer). UPDATE: After three more visits, another part order (and then back ordered and then cancelled and then reordered) and three additional appointment reschedulings, I am LIVID that this is still not taken care of. The combo of GE/Assurant/Sears has absolutely been the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. Also, if you call the 1-800 number from the Sears bot below, you’ll get an AI assistant that refuses to connect you to a human and has only limited options of how it can help. SO SO frustrated right now.

Company was hired by home warranty company to repair my fridge. The only way to schedule a repair is to schedule an entire day from 8 am to 3 pm and wait at home until the technician comes. This window is more like 8 am to 5 or 6 pm due to the time the repair itself can take. On the first scheduled day, technician came and realized he needed a part to replace, he ordered it and then I had to schedule another repair day (8 am to 3 pm). Second repair day, I wait for 10 straight hours at home, 8 am to 6 pm. The same technician from the first day did not call or update all day until 5:56 pm that he was not going to be able make the repair that day. We schedule a third day to set aside entirely for fridge repair. On the third day, the same technician arrives unprepared. Come to find out, he did not know how to repair the fridge, but we also learn he isn't qualified to work on the fridge. Apparently this brand requires you to have a special certification to work on it, Sears did not catch that. A total of 3 repair days, 26 hours of time spent at home by me or a babysitter to be available to the technician, to find out that Sears sent someone who cannot repair my fridge to attempt just that. Send qualified technicians to your repair jobs.

Zero Starts for Sear- 5 Stars for my technician = 3 Stars. My technician was wonderful. IT'S SEARS THAT STINKS. My stove has been broken since January 2025. They have scheduled & then rebooked my repair call FIVE TIMES. They also give you an 8-Hour window, which means I have to take off work and wait the whole day for them to show. This last cancellation they did- they cancelled half-way through the day and rescheduled me for A MONTH LATER. I have fought through 3 levels of Customer Service to get anyone who actually can do anything. They can elevate my issue but no one will call me back to actually talk about my wait. I've had to replace the electronics 3 times on the stove and they just keep ordering parts and making me wait. By now, they spent more on parts than if they just replaced the stove. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE. I live in a town of 1 million people- and they gutted their repair team so badly that I have to wait for a tech to be free who then drives AN HOUR from another part of the state to get to my house. **** UPDATE- See the response from Sears. Totally canned. They did not even read my review. NOTE: I call the ONLY number available. I get someone who's English is their thirds language- I say that only because They don't understand me and I can't understand them. They only read a script. Promise to elevate. But they will not/cannot help me any further. After one of a dozen attempts I finally get to a Supervisor- I explain my frustration about the reschedules. They WILL NOT ALLOW ME to contact dispatch. They WILL NOT ALLOW ME to call anyone else. THEY WILL NOT PROMISE ME a return call. So your response to my review is LAUGHABLE. Tell me who to call and who I can talk to that actually gives a crap about me- a customer. I've got more issues, but I'll wait for SEARS to either reach out to me OR give me an actual phone number that I can talk to about this issue. I'll just sit here and wait for Sears to actually give me a way to contact them.

Not very happy with my service through Sears. My washer is under warranty through Lowe’s. Lowe’s chose Sears for my repair. First… I couldn’t get my 1st appointment for 2 weeks. They sent someone out and they replaced the door lock switch, no luck. They rescheduled another appointment for 2 more weeks out. This time I waited the whole entire day 8a-5p. No one ever showed up. I wasted my entire day waiting for a repair man that never showed up. Then they rescheduled me for 2 more weeks out. So 6 weeks without a washer. The repair man finally came again yesterday. He replaced the motherboard of my washer. He put it on a quick wash. Said it was good to go and left. As soon as the quick cycle finished, I ran into the laundry room to start on the 6 weeks of laundry I’m behind on. And… it is doing the same thing “door” warning code. I immediately called Alberts phone to see if he could come right back, no answer. I called sears, they said they’d send a message to Albert and send him back. Albert messages back, “Try unplugging it letting it rest for five minutes and plugging it back in. If that doesn’t work you’ll have to call your home company to get us back out again.” I tried this, no luck. I called back to Sears, that said my case has been closed and I have to start back at square one and refile my claim through Lowe’s/Assurion. So I have to start this whole process over again. I am so upset. This is 3 days I’ve had to take off and miss work. It shouldn’t take 6+ weeks for a washer repair. I’m more frustrated with Sears then Albert. But Albert should’ve double checked that my unit was working correctly before he left.
