After setting up a service appointment, Sears sent several texts to let me know that the service technician would contact me with a narrower time frame than the original 7am-6pm estimate. Tech never contacted me and then cancelled my appointment at 11:45am. I rescheduled, received several texts again from Sears. Tech never contacted me until 3:30pm when he was 5 minutes away. He tried to cancel my appointment because it was raining, but I assured him that all work was indoors. He tried to help, but couldn’t. After these two appointments I am very unimpressed.

The technician did not appear during the scheduled time frame, and this is not the first time this had been happened. No phone call or text message to tell if the technician would still come or not. The customer service number +1-802-552-4364 did not help as it's an automatic phone which just repeats the schedule.

I called Sears Appliance Repair to fix a leak coming from my washer. I told the person on the phone that I believed the leak was coming from the hose connecting the cold water to the washer. When the repairman arrived, he looked behind the washer and told me he was not allowed to service anything outside of the washer and then proceeded to charge me a $139 diagnostic fee. I should have been told during the phone call about that policy as I would have called a plumber instead. I will not use Sears again. update: The owner responded that I call to discuss my complaint with them, but whoever took my call said he could not help me. My displeasure still stands.

First of all I live in Delaware and your website gives an address of 301 college square for a parts warehouse. So I drive 20 miles to college Sq Newark DE. 19711 to go to the parts warehouse to get a part for my dryer. I ride around college square for a half hour and cannot find it. So I call and after getting through 15 menues I finally get a live person and your live person tells there's not actually a physical location. So why would have this location online when it actually doesn't exist 🤔. What a waste of time and gas. You need to fix this. I'd never buy anything from you after an experience like that. Besides I found the part at another appliance shop for $15.00 less than what you charge. Thanks for nothing.

1 year ago my washer wouldn’t go past the rinse cycle so sears repair came out they fixed it and said the wire went bad. Easy fix. Then 2 months ago the exact same thing happened. Sears came out and it was the exact same wire again, the exact same technician from last year replaced it again. Then two days ago I experienced the same issue. I called and spoke to an associate who told me that they would have a technician come out and if it was the exact same issue they would fix it for free which I was fine with since there is no reason a wire should be messed up after only two months and if it is then it had to be a faulty wire. I called back later and they apologized for the miscommunication and told me they would only cover it if it broke within 30 days of the previous repair. After speaking to a manager and they reiterated the same thing I said to cancel my appt because I don’t have money to have them fix the same exact issue they keep fixing and spending almost 200 each time for them to replace a wire every 2 months when wires are made to last years not a month or two. Very unhappy with this, feels as if they purposefully gave me a faulty wire each time so I would keep having to pay every couple of months to get it repaired.
