Two day install turned into days including missing a window and one damaged window. I was expecting inside trim to look new instead it appears that caulking and drywall mud has been an eyesore. I was told because my windows were old but one of the window opening was new to the renovation. Also, my main picture window does not pop out as described in the window presentation

The blinds Between the glass is a big disappointment. I thought it would lower from the top, not raise from the bottom. If I had understood that, I would have canceled the order at once. The threshold is dangerous to step across. We have a handyman coming Tuesday 7/18 to hopefully make it safer. Terry told my husband that the cost would be covered by Sears home services. I didn't know the storm door would have a screen. I need to know how to remove it to clean the door. Also need to know how to remove the glass if we ever just want the screen

Don't know right from left.

This door project was not everything I expected. The opening was measured not once, not twice, but 3 times. The product delivered was too wide and too short. I was extremely disappointed because it doesn't open on the left as ordered. The company that made the door, as Sears selected, has either no quality control or just doesn't know right from left. The salesman was very good at his job and convinced me everything would be right and installed by Sears professionals. I admit that the installers were professionals but they don't work for Sears. In conclusion I will never buy any more of anything from Sears. It is no wonder that the stores are all closed.

Right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing

Our sales rep sold us a system that they later discovered wouldn't work so we had to switch to a different system. When it came time to install the system, we had to wait 3 weeks for the zoning which was delayed an additional 2 weeks because they never received the dampers so the 3 week delay we agreed to became 5 weeks. We were supposed to have 2 thermostats but the installer who did the zoning said the system calls for 1 thermostat and one sensor. He had trouble getting it to work and it finally worked…. For 12 hours then failed. We immediately called as my wife the account holder was having surgery the next day and we needed it resolved. We ended up waiting 2 days for them to send someone to fix what the previous installers were clearly not qualified to install. Michael who came to the house to fix it finally was the most competent team member we encountered. Lastly, due to the way your people mis-entered the credit application, we were put on a Citibank credit card instead of the sears financing that we thought we had applied for and were billed immediately even though the installation was not complete. We were initially told that we would not be billed until 30 days after installation was completed. I have never experienced such poor service from Sears and will never recommend them again. Sadly, our daughter just bought a home and prior to this I would have recommended Sears highly.

A tale of two stories

I was calling around to different companies looking for pricing for a new a/c and heating unit. Sears was on my list. I scheduled a meeting and Robert Melanson and another guy came out. They looked at the old system took a few measurements and then we sat down to discuss what they had come up with. Of course I'm no expert on what they were saying but I understood something's. They gave me a quote and assured me that this was a great unit at a good price. Robert also mentioned that I was going to get something that would take most allergens out of the air. Also originally we wasn't going to go with a thermostat but when the project manager Stan called me he said that my current thermostat would not work with the new system so I mentioned that to Robert also and he said that he would work it into the numbers. So I agreed to go ahead with the project. I called Robert(Bobby) back on that Monday telling him that my wife wasn't happy with me because I had mad a big decision without her being there for her input. She also was mad at me because I had went with a quote from Sears that was higher than the other co. I reached Robert to tell him of my wife's concerns about the price and he told me that Sears wanted my business and if the fact that a few hundred dollars was stopping the deal he was sure that they could match or beat the other company's price. When when they came out to install the heating part and once they were finished I asked the guy where was the I-Wave that was supposed to come with unit and the guy says there was nothing on his orders. So I called the project manager and it took about a week and they came back and installed the thermostat and the I-wave to the heater. I kept asking Stan what was going on with the price match that I was supposed to get and he kept telling me that that would be a decision made by the sales dept. So I didn't hear anything for about two weeks and then I received an email from Robert after I left a very strong one to him.
