  2. Zero stars all around! Horrible service!

    My GE refrigerator was making loud noises. The guy came and looked at it while I was at work, moved some food around in the freezer and left. He said the food was blocking some fans or something. Two days later, everything thawed out and the appliance won't even make ice cubes anymore! The repairman didn't do a thing, I got treated like I was crying wolf, and now I can't buy frozen food. I have thrown out more than $65.00 worth of food, most of it frozen. He's coming back July 2nd. I have had more problems with this Benton Sears and I absolutely HATE them! Once they fix my refrigerator, I will never deal with Sears again! THIS STUPID THING WON'T LET ME GIVE YOU ZERO STARS!

  4. repair of Kenmore refrigerator

    We had fan in freezer replace June 10, due to noise. The refrigerator is making the same noise again, so I called for service again. they can't come back until jun 25th. (this is June 18 when I called)

    Contacted service for an emergency call due to refrigerator not cooling. After being told that the earliest date available was not available for 5 days, escalated to numerous levels requesting an earlier date was still not able to get a serviceman earlier. I feel that there should be some time allotted on the schedule for situations like I was encountering. This is definitely a sub standard way of doing business. In addition, I have had at least 8-10 service clls on this product in less than 2 years which is another issue of the service contract. The policy states that you must have 4 calls within 12 months in order to qualify for a replacement. I have had 4 calls in 13 months and do not qualify. I also contacted Samsung regarding an exchange and because they had not serviced the item could not help me. I have been waiting 4 days for Sears to send me my service repair records after being old I would receive them in 24-36 hours. I am patiently awaiting the service man today knowing full well that it will be determined that I need a compressor. It will be at another week at least before I receive the part and no idea how long it will take to get another appointment since there are no emergency times available. Needless to say, I am thoroughly disgusted and disappointed with Sears service. There is no doubt in my mind that I will never purchase another appliance from Sears and a very expensive service contract.

  6. Great service

    Serviceman was polite and efficient. Took care of the problem. This is not the serviceman's fault but Sears would do better to tell servicemen to let people know early in the day or even before some idea of the time they will come. I appreciated that they called me to give me some heads up.

  7. Still not fixed.

    My icemaker was broken. The repair guy said he fixed it. It ran for a cycle or two then quit working again. I called to complain and I am having to wait another 2 weeks to get another repair visit.

    Exellent serive. My frig broke down and had same day service. Other than the price being a lot more than expected. The service guy was excellent.

    First repair was misdiagnosed with several packages arriving at our house. second repair person better, but the whole ordeal was upsetting getting a follow up appt. (when a follow up was not our fault) was difficult.
