  7. He did his very best!

    He told us what had happened to our refrigerator. A water line had broken - probably from age. We decided to stop the ice maker and use ice cubes. He was very good - cleaned our coils and wiped up a lot of water.

  8. I was swindled

    The freezer fan was not working; instead of cleaning out the ice build up in the freezer motor area, the technician replaced probably a good motor and did not remove any of the ice build up. The labor charges were exorbitant. Not dealing in good faith.

  9. Replacement Drawer

    We were suppose to receive a new drawer for our refrigerator which we did receive. Took it out of the box and the roller wheel was broken off. It was not in the box so it was broken before it was put in the box. This is the 4th part we have received that has been broken or wrong. Have tried and tried to get in touch with Sears to get a replacement and I either get put on hold and not answered, get sent to another department and never answered or never answered. I was on hold for 2 HOURS!! And not answered. I do not have time to wait in hold. I have extended warranty so is this how they treat customers who have a warranty?? I finally got ahold of someone who is suppose to be sending out a new drawer and said that if this one is broken we will receive a new refrigerator so we will see.

    I am so glad I called Sears. Jeff was able to look up my file and tell me my refrigerator was still under a 10 year parts warranty. I did not know that so I was very grateful. He was very efficient and showed me everything he did. Also gave me his cell phone number if I had any issues which I had one minor question a couple of hours later and he responded very promptly. I was so pleased I bought the whole house warranty.
