Larry suggested to change the valve for the middle Kitchen Aid burner. While this would solve the burner issue the repair is too costly. He suggested that the issue was derived by lack of use of the burner. I believe it is a faulty design by Kitchen Aid. Essentially the valve is inexpensive. The labor cost is exorbitant. Sears shouldn't be charging this very costly amount for labor.

The best repair professional can't help if there are no longer parts available for your appliance. The appointment process does not ask about the age of the appliance, but it can matter. Possibly save the trip charge towards a new purchase..

Each of the service members of your team (we had 3 different ones) have been extremely helpful and polite. If they had realized the problem better at first there wouldn't have been a need to come 4 times. They were each one challenged by what the previous one didn't remember to do. But overall they were great 😊
