The washing machine was rattling and sounded like it had coins in it. He ran a computer check but didn't look into the machine. So yesterday it was rattling away when we used it.

I have particles left on my dishes no matter what I do all the repair man said was mine does the same thing and all he did was move the top blade some because it was crooked everytime we get the same exact repairman and we even get the same guy when having repairs from another of sears competitors apparently it is the same company no matter what in my area I am very dissapointed in this unacceptable service.

Lousy waiting period
My range broke down June 6, 2015, first repair scheduled June 24, 2015, technician did not have parts to fix, next repair date July 9, 2015. Told customer service I would have family reunion at my house from 7-2 - 7-7-15, did not help to speed repair, the parts ordered arrived on 6-29-15. Could have bought a new stove for the money I spent on food for feeding children and grandchildren staying with us, close to $600.00. The only good thing was that I had bought extended warranty.

I have had Sears here 3 times in the last year to repair my dryer! They have not fixed it wach time. The last time the repair man broke the handle in my dryer. He claimed the dryer was fixed- it was not- and never mentioned that he broke the handle. AND I was charged $122.00 for a non repair and a briker dryer handle

Still encountering same problem
Had to have another technician come out to fix a problem I was having with my freezer. The first tech. couldn't find anything. Second tech. thought he found the problem. My freezer still leaks. I am on my third try at service. Not happy at all!

Not happy with serivce at all. Lost over $200 in food. Waited three weeks for tech to tell me wrong part was ordered. Waited two more weeks for tech to repair refrigerator. The tech said wait 24 hours to fully recharge. Three days later no difference temp had to call again. My next appointment was 4 weeks later. I asked for a supervisor was given an appointment for the following week. Tech left parts because truck was full I still have parts at my home.

One broken promise after another
I was given (via automated system) an appointment window of 8a-12p for 6/26 to fix my Kenmore drier and was told I would receive a call when the tech was on his way. I waited and waited until finally I called in at 11:30 to get an eta at which point I was told the tech was tied up and would be there at 2p. I called again later and was then told he WOULD NOT BE COMING AT ALL and that I would need to be rescheduled. After much protestation, the phone number of a human supervisor, and the promise of a $45 gift card I agreed to an appointment (10a-2p) the next day. I called 1-800-4MY-HOME and eventually reached a human supervisor who at least professionally provided a plausible, yet unsatisfactory explanation. She also promised that I would be given 25% off my service vs the standard 20% listed on the website. The tech (Dave- who was great) arrived @ 1:45, diagnosed the problem from my description within 5 minutes, completed the job in 20 minutes. He was literally at my house 30 minutes. In addition to the broken promises of missed appointment times and phone calls already listed: the gift card has yet to arrive and there was no mention of a 25 % discount in Dave’s paperwork so the best he could do was 20%. Not only will I not call Sears for service in the future, but I will no longer by major appliances from them because both installation and service appear to be an afterthought for them now.
