Service technician arrived in a timely manner. Technician did not want to diagnoise ice maker problem. The technician threatened to charge extra to diagnoise the problem because he would have to do more work. I had to write multiple checks before my check was approved. Technician did not list defective part on my receipt. Technician injured my vegetable plants when leaving.

Your app said the technician was at my home. He was never there. This is the fourth scheduled service and the fourth time that a technician did not post. And the 3rd time I was never given notice.

Terrible

He came in, spent 5 minutes replacing a part, said it was starting, and left. No evaluation. No troubleshooting. No looking for error codes. I asked about refund of over-payment. He had no idea and no control. Ice maker still not working. TERRIBLE service. This was the FOURTH appointment. I do not recommend Sears in any form.

This was the worst, most unprofessional service we ever had. Chayane called mid-morning to inform us that he was 10 minutes away. He then asked if we had received the parts that had been ordered, and I said yes. Then he ask me if I was sure if this repair is what I wanted to do; he asked how old is the ice maker (it's about 15 years old); he "reminded" me that I had spent about $800 on the machine so far, and that he could not guarantee that the machine would work after he finished. I reminded him the it was my money; that a new ice maker could cost twice as much; and that his job was to install the parts I already paid for, and the calculated risk was not not something I wanted to discuss with him. In short, I got the impression he did not want to do the install, so I told him if he did not want to come, please send someone else. After further discussion he said he would come if that's what I wanted. When he came, he looked at the ice maker, then immediately said we would have to provide him with "access to the machine" or else he could not repair it because it was under the counter. The other technicians who came before him clearly could see that the ice maker slides out with little effort, so my wife pulled it for him. Finally, when he finished he did not test the machine to see if it was working properly. He simply told my wife he had installed the parts, and then he left. This was not a pleasant experience. We now have a leak from a part that was just replaced and working two weeks ago. Not good!!!

Repair of Stand Alone Kitchen Aid Icemaker

I give Sears Home Services an "F" for their current service. I have used them previously over the years with good results. In June 2023, I had them make a service call. Today after 11 scheduled appointments, 8 visits by 3 different technicians, Sears supervisors who do not appreciate the need for technician continuity in a repair, stood up 3 times, much time taken off to accommodate your window of 8 to 5, numerous parts broken by your service technicians, the inability to talk to a human being regarding the repairs, and the inability to edit my personal information on line, my icemaker on November 16, 2023 now works! Kudos to A&E serviceman Benjamin who was courteous and did not give up on making the repair in spite of the lack of help from his organization.

Thor Ice Maker repair

I'm dissatisfied with the service I received from Veennath. My Thor ice maker is still not working. It doesn't turn on and he left a mess. Parts were in the ice bin and left without communicating anything to my wife who was at home. Please send another Technician to complete the work,

I've machine still not working

Billy ordered a new part and installed it to my refrigerator, however, my ice maker is still not working. I have spent a lot of money and the problem is still there.

He did not tell me anything other than they could not get the part. He walked out of the door without giving me a receipt for my payment. He could not answer any questions that I had, he just skirted around the question. I don't normally leave bad reviews, but this was a waste of my time and money.
