Jacob thoroughly inspected and tested everything possible and could not find why the fridge would not get cold enough, even though I had the settings at Max. He decided to have me keep the control at recommend setting and call back in 24 hrs if I saw a temperature spike in either direction. Turns out it just went up another 4 degrees. Called GE for second appointment.

Curtis took the back cover off and the control covers in the freezer. Checked everything and could not find any malfunctioning parts. He explained how the fridge is dependent on the cold air from the freezer getting pushed down to the fridge and its design flaw is not allowing that to happen sufficiently. So, it's not going to get cold enough in the fridge.to keep my food from spoiling. Very knowledgeable and professional technician.
