Alex was nothing short of OUTSTANDING in every way! My appliance back to where it was! Wow, the professionalism this man demonstrated was way beyond what I normally see, and gave me great confidence to want to use this service again when needed! This is the 2nd time Mehrdad has come out to service one of our appliances. He is excellent: thorough, knowledgeable, and great at explaining the situation. What I didn’t love is Sears increasing use of AI chatbots. Made checkout take way too long (why would I want a chatbot to explain the repair service while a qualified technician who has actually sen my appliance stands there?) and was also glitchy during the appointment confirmation call.

Our tech, Alex, gets 5*. He was thorough with checking out appliance. He was polite and knowledgeable. This was a warranty job. The AI system for Sears gets a 1*. We needed to chat with a human and it did not give us an option for it. The system labeled our refrigerator as a dishwasher.

Dallas was terrific. Very efficient. Helpful guidance in using dishwasher properly. Also Sears should drop the AI assisted communication. It’s frustrating not being able to talk directly to someone. If it doesn’t significantly improve we’ll likely discontinue our protective service agreement.
