Highly do NOT recommend this company. I made an appointment with them for 1pm-5pm, a 4 hour window, and they simply never showed up, or even offered a reason as to why they were not showing up. When I attempted to reach out to customer service, I learned they only use an automated customer service line and it does not allow you to speak to an actual human. There was no way for me to even inquire about my cancelled appointment given the automated options they provided. A giant waste of time company, made worse by the fact that the repairs were needed urgently. Do yourself a massive favor and look elsewhere for appliance repair services.

The service was terrible. The technician arrived, looked at my refrigerator, did not have the proper tool to fix it, wanted to borrow a hair Dryer, left without doing anything, and Still charged the $139.00! I rescheduled with another technician who never showed up and then canceled my appointment at the End of the day! VERY POOR SERVICE!!! DO NOT EVER USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!

They called last minute to tell me they couldn’t make the repair appointment. As a result I didn’t not have time to schedule with someone else for three days. Highly recommend using a local repair service over them.

I don't know why I bothered to subscribe to the Sears Maintenance plan, they have never been able to fix my problems. The website and customer service phone is not user-friendly. The people I have (finally reached) talked to are always pleasant and polite; but having described my problem, only to have the technician show up and say they cannot fix it is ridiculous! Plus, when I subscribed, I was informed it was a year-long contract. I feel well ripped off by being stuck in this program that doesn't work the way I need it to.

Unfortunately Sears was very late for both appointments that were set up, despite having a four hour window. Additionally they technician they sent readily admitted that he did not know how to work on my appliance brand/model and could not reach out to the manufacturer to help. Of course I was charged a service fee despite the appliance not being repaired. Edit: one month later - still no refund. The 1-800 number listed below leads to customer service center. I spent half an hour working my way through selections then waiting for a person to be told that no refund request was ever entered and they don't show that the technician took the part with him. They will "enter a refund request and I should hear back in 7 days." In the meantime, I'll be disputing the charge with my credit card company to ensure I don't get the same response in another month. I highly recommend avoiding Sears Appliance Repair.

Service technician seemed good. So ordered part, paid in advance, & scheduled installation. 7/15 Technician was no show...No communication since.... tried the service # and online page multiple times for 3 days...nothing! Now 3+ weeks...no idea if we'll ever connect with or hear from Sears... bizarre... UPDATE= Received a Sears reply to this review directing me to contact them on FB...but the site they directed me to states it is "not available at this time"...so the saga continues? 2nd UPDATE...almost 1wk since my last update. I responded to Sears request to contact them on Facebook...still no reply FINAL UPDATE= DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! 5WK SINCE 1ST VISIT...2X NO SHOW FOR APPT USING THEIR WEBSITE SCHEDULING..."REPEATED EFFORTS TO CONNECT W ANYONE VIA FACEBOOK, CALLS, WEBSITE ALL FAILED...THEY CHARGED MY CARD $437 FOR WORK NEVER DONE... I AM TAKING ACTION TO RECOVER CHARGE. & NOTIFYING BBB.

I simply wanted to schedule someone to come out and give me an estimate on fixing the freezer part of my GE refrigerator. First I could barely understand the attendant due to her accent. Not her fault….its mine because I just couldn’t understand what she was saying. Second she takes me through all of these questions and prompts only to try and pass me off to another member of her team for payment. I admit I got frustrated and just hung up the phone. I try to get things scheduled when I can get some time when I’m not working or not supporting what my family needs. I don’t really have the time to spend 20 to 30 minutes answering 21 questions. I normally don’t leave reviews but I thought it would be beneficial to let you know no matter how good your services are it defeats the point if I can’t schedule a technician to come out. Very frustrating!!! All I wanted to do was get someone to look at my freezer. I’m no closer to a technician than I was when I went to bed last night!
