Repair
He somewhat repaired the washing machine leveling shocks under warranty. Not sure how long before it happens again. It's a brand new washer.
Hakeem S,
Roanoke, VAHe was courteous.
There was no repair needed, the problem corrected itself! Tech came and looked, went on his phone, signed the work order off, sent the service charge to me, I paid it and he left.

Technician was great. As far as scheduling and getting in touch with technician to schedule time not great. Need phone number to get in contact with the actual person doing the job and not the service provider. Was canceled at first with no communication.
Christinia R,
Moneta, VAAl was great. Disappointed with other aspects of service.
Al was a knowledgeable technician. I really appreciated the work he did at the house. My difficulty was with Sears Home Services and how things are structured. There is no phone number to call to speak to a human. The 8am-5pm window they give you for service makes it very challenging for folks who work. If they could at least specify that service will be conducted in the morning or afternoon it would be greatly appreciated. For any given service, you have to set aside two full work days-- one for the diagnostic and a separate one for the repair.

He Left a mess to clean up after finishing up.
Tommy H,
Roanoke, VAElite Refrigerator
After waiting 3 different times to have our refrigerator fixed. The all day wait is poor customer service. The parts were ordered and arrived as we were told. But what was ordered was not what we needed. If he had completely checked the freezer the first time he would have found the problem, like our son did. There was a package of frozen vegetables that had fallen behind the door covered in ice which was keeping the door from closing and sealing. So we did not need to have a new seal. We took our stuff out of the freezer on two occasions waiting for the repairman. We decided not to remove the stuff on Monday. When Shawn finally arrived after 4 pm on Monday, driving up the driveway in a convertible. He was only here about 5 minutes, after my husband explained what our son had found. Shawn opened the freezer door and shut said there was no need to replace the seal and thermostat, and everything should be good to go. Out the door he went....

Melissa D,
Pilot, VANot satisfied with paying full labor cost
David is a good technician to work with but I'm not satisfied that I have to pay full labor for this service call when the problem wasn't fixed the first time on 31 Jul
Jerald A,
Forest, VADisappointed
I was disappointed that my appointment got rescheduled twice due to a "driver unable to finish his shift." Then the day they actually did come I was scheduled for the morning but the tech did not arrive until 5pm. I am grateful the refrigerator now works but also grateful I didn't buy the warranty.
