Techs should take all boxes & parts when leaving a job. I’ve had techs at 2 different times leave parts & boxes.

Adam came out and checked my washer/dryer. He quickly surmised a new motor was need, then showed me a quote for repair. The quote was more than what the unit was worth, so I declined to have it repaied. It all made a lot of sense and Adam explained everything beyond to my satisfaction.. Thank you, Adam, for your insight. The rest of this is aimed at Sears Appliance Repair company. Adam spent 15 minutes here, didn't do any physical work, and left soon after. I needed to have a professional dignosis and that's what I got. It cost $119 to determine I will now need to spend quite a bit more for a new unit. Did I obtain good value for my money? Maybe. But it can easily be argued that the cost appears to be too high. It could also be argued the customer didn't have many choices in how to obtain a true diagnosis. This seems to be how it is these days. I will not recommend this company in the future. I think they can do better.

First of all you should be able to give a narrower margin of time instead of 8-5. Secondly I explained in complete detail what was wrong with my fridge when I put in the service request which is exactly what I told Jorge when he got here when he then looked up the part I needed- if he even has it on his van- only to tell me it would be upwards of $750 to fix it. Without even looking at it. So someone could’ve told me that over the phone or message and saved a trip and not wasted my day waiting and money for service call for nothing. Jorge was great but the whole experience still ruined my day. I don’t know who could afford those prices.

Both Tech's were awesome. The only thing that kept me from signing for home protection is that you rates are not even close to other home shield warranties.

Diagnosis of my problem was $99 or to repair was $488 to include $159 part and labor. I can buy an new Bosch dishwasher for $649. My Whirlpool is 3 years old. My wife and I will buy a new dishwasher.

While the technician was friendly, I was very disappointed that I had to pay for someone to come out there and tell me they could not even look at my machine due to where the water valve was located. That information should be provided ahead of time so that I did not spend my day waiting around all day and spending unnecessary money. Very displeased.

Appointment #1 we were told technician would be here between 8 and 5. He showed at 7:10 pm, took a look and said had to order part and reschedule. Appointment #2 we were told would be here between 8 and 5 and technician never showed, no one had decency to let us know not coming and could not talk to a real person, just a1 automated responses. Appointment #3 was put out 2 weeks, told would be here between 8 and 5, showed about 6:15 and replaced part. FRUSTRATING AND TIME CONSUMING!!!!!!!!!

When the tech arrived, the repair was smooth and quick. However, the arrive time was poorly communicated as the tech was having trouble with the main office and the repair route he was supposed to be following. Therefore, the overall rating is low, which was not the techs fault.
