Absolutely terrible AI generated calls. You NEVER get a human. I will buy my next appliances from a place that services their own products. Serviceman was supposed to call PRIOR to just showing up to replace parts that HE ordered to fix our washer which were two weeks late due to UPS shipping them to the incorrect state. Cluster from the git-go. I thankfully found a portable on Craigslist for $50.00 that allowed me to keep up. If you ever need this service DONT call Lowes and get them to recommend their service team. I would have rated them a 1, but it was NOT his fault parts were misdirected.

Service was prompt and serviceman was pleasant. That, however, is the best I can say. The unit was not repaired. Instead, a temperature was taken (and now I question the accuracy of that equipment), and an apple was felt to determine that the unit was working properly. No effort was made to inspect the coils, connections, etc. Very dissatisfied!

The call apparently went to a generic call center in Asia. I had 2 options A) purchase Home Warranty w/ them or B) pay $99 for a diagnostic inspection (which would be deducted from potential repair) - None of this is necessarily bad, but the website is not immediately clear that this is the business model. Misleading! Not what I was looking for!

Service Tech arrived met my daughter (22yoa) he never pulled the stove out to look at the back where the fan is located. He called me and told me he would have to order the part because he didn’t have it on the truck. He then proceeded to tell me that it was going to cost $560.00 to repair only after he would have to order the part which would take 7-10 business days to arrive. Then would have to schedule another appointment for him to install. He was here at my residence for less that 30 minutes and it cost me $119.00….absolutely ridiculous! The part that the heck had to order was barely over $100.00…..and there was gonna be a $400.00 some labor charge??? Again ridiculous and website very misleading. Will never contact SEARS again for anything, and won’t recommend to anyone. To say I’m disappointed is an understatement!!! Feel like I was Scammed! 😡

I have been a Sears Home Warranty customer for over a year, paying approximately $78 per month for coverage. During that time, my oven has experienced the same recurring issue multiple times. Sears has sent technicians out repeatedly and has replaced numerous parts, yet the problem continues to return. At this point, it seems that the cost of all the repairs and replacement parts has likely exceeded the cost of replacing the appliance itself. What makes this even more frustrating is that every time the same issue reappears, I am required to open a new claim and pay another $100 deductible, despite the fact that the underlying problem was never actually resolved. Customer service is another major concern. It is nearly impossible to reach a human representative. Every call is routed through an AI system, and despite multiple attempts, I have never been able to speak directly with a person who could address my concerns. My most recent service appointment was especially disappointing. The technician did not even turn the oven on to verify the issue. Instead, he appeared to rely on AI tools on his phone to diagnose the problem. Unsurprisingly, the oven continued to malfunction after the visit. I purchased a home warranty for peace of mind and reliable repairs. Instead, I have spent significant money on monthly premiums and repeated deductibles while dealing with the same unresolved issue over and over. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Sears Home Warranty.
