The Technician doesn’t know what he is doing. He came twice and didn’t resolve it and tell the incorrect diagnoses. I am really disappointed with the technician better look for someone.

The technician didnt have the right equipments (check for CO) or knowledge to diagnose the issue. He started arguing with me to prove that there is something wrong with the system. I provided pictures and details of another company’s diagnostic report to help him out and Sear’s technician is like they are lying to sell me their product. He pretty much told me dont tell him what to do!! Very unprofessional and rude. The company gave me an appointment between 7 am and 6 pm.. it is a joke to give a time frame like that. Then they keep updating their arrival time through out the day. Finally the guy came around 4 pm. He wanted me to pay first and the excuse is that other customers are refusing to pay (can you believe).

The warranty company dispatched this guy that had no idea of what he was doing. He just told me the furnace was old and needed to be replaced. I just wanted it fixed and working. He told me that the flue pipe was clogged and parts were required. Had a real HVAC guy come today and he checked everything and the shut down was caused by the air filter. I was using a mist humidifier and it clogged the filter. Simple fix and this guy had no idea. He didn't check the voltage readings or do anything meaningful like the real tech. Very shocked about Sears Home Service. Be careful about up sales and lack of true service.

Our heat pump was not producing heat, and the service experience was highly unsatisfactory. The technician demonstrated unprofessional behavior and arrived with a negative attitude. He stated that he was unwilling to perform the repair due to the cold weather and informed us that he would return once temperatures increased. As a result, the service was rescheduled for two weeks later. During this time, my family and I were left without adequate heating in cold weather conditions. We were forced to purchase two space heaters to maintain a safe and livable indoor environment. When my wife asked the technician why it took so long for him to return and complete the repair, he responded by yelling at her. He claimed that the system could not be properly diagnosed until the weather warmed up to determine whether the issue was related to low refrigerant levels. When I asked for clarification, he responded by telling me “to go to school”. Insulting my intelligence. Overall, the technician’s conduct was inappropriate, unprofessional, and unacceptable, and it caused unnecessary hardship for my family.

The service was the worst we had. He demanded money as soon as he entered home. And he rejected to do service in the home and gave a wrong information to my insurance service agency which cannot be covered when this was a simple thermostat change. He didn’t start checking the instrument until we pay the amount of 75$. This guy was a total worst guy I have ever had.

I had a time slot from 7 AM to 11 AM. The technician called me at 11:01 to tell me that he would 45 minutes late. ( if he knew he would be late I feel like he should’ve contacted me during the time slot not after) he then asked me if this was a warranty claim (which obviously it was because I filed the claim with assurant and they hired Sears Home Services) once I told him that it was a claim he told me that he had no claim number and that if he would want to come out It would be a service charge of $150. I obviously wasn’t happy with that but I’ve already taken a half day off of work so I might as well take the full day off and have this completed. I told him to come out. He said that I would be wasting his time 😂😂. I just took off work for a half a day but somehow I’m wasting this technicians time. This is his line of work. I cannot find a phone number or email address to share my unhappiness with this company. Here’s a picture of the clown

Absolutely terrible experience. They did not show up THREE separate times and did not even give us notice. They give a timeframe of 8am-5pm so we have to take the whole day off for work just for them to cancel at the last minute. When they finally came they ordered the wrong parts and took weeks for another one to arrive. Now the job suddenly requires two people. That wasn't the case the first time and if they had actually paid attention they would've known that from the start & scheduled accordingly. It's impossible to talk to a real person and get a clear answer. The lack of communication, accountability, and basic professionalism is horrendous. We've been more than patient, but at this point, I would never recommend this company to anyone
