The technician (Hai), who was sent to fix my furnace, was unprofessional and incompetent. He kept complaining about how he couldn't figure out the problem of my furnce. He told me he didn't know how to fix it. He left without repairing it and said he would call me for another appointment. On the second appointment, he took a paint brush and cleaned the unit from dust and told me it would be $70 to clean it. I didn't pay for it. Bottom line, I was not serviced again and told his manager would come look at the the unit.it never happened. I just canceled the service and went with someone else.

Tech arrived 3 hours late. He correctly diagnosed the problem. Gave me a price of $399 to replace a blown thermal fuse. I agreed to the repair. He then showed me I needed a duct cleaning and gave me the number of a friend. He then refused to reconnect the duct and I also had to help him lift the dryer. Then after he leaves I get the full detailed bill. His labor for 40 minutes of work was $299. The part, the thermo fuse, is a $7 part that Sears charged me $50 for but the bill still didn't add up. Then I saw he charged me another $50 to tell me I need a duct cleaning. This is the second time I fell for this Sears service scam. Never again!!!! I especially like the sending you the detailed invoice after the guy leaves. Avoid Sears Home Service at all cost. It's literally cheaper now to buy a new dryer than have Sears work on it.

He’s very unprofessional and he don’t know his job correctly after 10 to 15 minutes he came back and told me my unit need to be clean up and that’s the reason my AC doesn’t work if I pay him cash, then he can clean it up, but still there’s no guarantee if it can be fix but the person before him came like a month go and he said completely different thing. he was trying to put the fuse back to turn on the electric on It took him six minutes I don’t think so. If he know well about AC after he left, I called back my insurance company to send some another company or another Technician.

Tech was argumentative and very disrespectful! We will never use Sears ever again for anything. Very bad experience. If there was a zero star rating, they would get that. Diagnosed with one issue but took 5 trips and found more than one issue and still not solved the problem.

No stars.. he came in tried the water dispenser once and in 2 mins said we needed an entire new freezer door that would cost $1100 to do. That is as much as we spent on the entire refrigerator! Not confident at all in the diagnosis! Very disappointed

They came to my house disconnected the thermostat, said there was an electrical problem, then left. Thermostat is still disconnected. When I reached out to them to fix it they said that there was someone else coming out and stopped returning my texts and calls

Sears Home Services is intentionally engaging in dishonest business practices and fraud by using evasion to avoid honoring appliance warranties. Our refrigerator was out of service for over three months, and Sears Home Services did not repair it despite our having paid a $720 premium for an appliance warranty. Consequently, we purchased a new refrigerator and requested to cancel the warranty and receive a refund. Sears Home Services assured us that they would cancel the warranty and implied they would initiate a refund process. However, ultimately we were informed that we had already received adequate value, and the premium would not be refunded. We received no value at all; the problem was misdiagnosed, incomplete parts were ordered, and Sears Home Services simply abandoned the repair effort. The process was incredibly frustrating as Sears Home Services scheduled multiple appointments, then cancelled with little notice, often late in the evening, and then rescheduled blindly without asking about our availability, only to cancel again. We spent hours on the phone with Sears Homes Service customer service. They repeatedly misled us with half-truths and disingenuous lies. We filed complaints seeking reimbursement with the Better Business Bureau, the Attorney General of Virginia, and the Virginia Consumer Protection Bureau. In addition we have reported Sears Home Services to the Federal Trade Commission as an intentional fraud and a scam. Sears Home Services responded in writing to the BBB stating that they had given us a refund, which is completely false. They provided no refund whatsoever. The dishonesty by is unbelievable. AVOID SEARS HOME SERVICES. THEY ARE LIARS AND THIEVES.
