Nearly took 2 months to complete my job. There seems to be glitch in automated system to reach out live agent recently. Parts arrived in 2 weeks, technician appointment scheduled but was rescheduled twice with out notice even after I confirmed my appointment. Finally a technician arrived but refused to work on because he was not able to pull out my dish washer with ease. After couple of weeks I requested for different technician to do my job. New technician though experienced some degree of difficulty, was able to pull out dish washer in 5 min buy adjusting height screws. Then actual job an hour plus. Thanks to technician who was willing to stretch a bit for the customer. Apparently, home service sears protection policy doesn't have time limit to repair customer appliances. Second, if appliance cannot be accessible (cannot be pulled out) will not repair. Neither sears will not refund the payment made towards the repair incident claim.

Problem doesn't gets completely resolved, keeps coming back after few days. Never appointment is provided only after one week plus days. Problem is not resolved for more than one month now. Hoping it doesn't come back again.

The repair man was prompt and courteous, but he didn't fix the issue, nor did he explain what caused the issue.

The technician diagnosed two problems on my Kenmore dryer. One was a blown fuse. A seemingly simple fix. He did not have the part and had to order it. He also diagnosed a broken heating element. That was a wrong diagnosis. Sears just installed a new heating element four months ago. We paid over $400. There is nothing wrong with the heating element. He wanted over $200 to return, pop in the fuse and leave. Ridiculous. He knows there is nothing wrong with the heating element. He argued that the work only has a one month warranty. I pointed out it was replaced in November. His response, “That was last year”. It was four months ago. The dryer operated for 17 years before the heating element failed. Now he’s telling me this one only lasted four months. This is unethical. I gave up. I’m buying a new dryer. But, not from Sears. I will never use Sears Appliance Repair again.

Multiple visits when should not have been required. Tech wanted us to pay for monthly maintenance by tech visit but would not specify what maintenance was required.

Tech was nice however I don’t feel like he even moved the washer to diagnose the problem. The quote to fix it was more than the cost to replace it. Not likely to use them ever again. I paid $129 for a ‘diagnosis’. Disappointed!

The time of the appointment changes several times during the course of the day - without notification to my phone which was requested. Also my repair was not fully fixed
