The price he gave was all over the place and in the end the 50% above what I anticipated paying. It is advertised as something like $140 but he spent most of the time trying to get me to buy a warranty. It was a simple repair and he was done with in 20 minutes, but stayed close to 2 hours and charged me for talking. Not using this service again.

Technician was very rude and did not even service. Said it needs to be paid directly to him while we are a kept sending me the link to pay online. I made the payment and showed him the online receipt but he refused the service.

Technician Hai T talked incessantly and wasted about an hour of my time. The most disappointing aspect is that all the technicians who had previously come to my home through my Home Warranty Company requested the $65 payment only after the work was completed. This technician, however, demanded payment before even greeting me. Despite my showing him a video of the problem with my auxiliary unit, he unnecessarily worked on the main HVAC system. Not only did he talk nonstop, but he also demanded my attention to his conversation, repeatedly asking if he was correct on topics completely unrelated to my issue. When he finally got to my auxiliary unit, he stated that my system was new and under a 10-year manufacturer's warranty. It was immediately clear that he was not going to solve the problem, and after wasting a significant amount of my time, he left. Consequently, I paid the $65 for nothing. Under no circumstances should you do business with Sears Home Services.

I would not recommend this service provider or Sears Appliance Repair for any service work. They do not keep their appointments even though they require you to be home from 7 AM to 5 PM the day of the appointment. They tracked dirt into my house when they did finally show up. When I complained about the dirt they said the muddy footprints were not theirs. I caught them trying to install the wrong part. They lost a couple of small parts inside my washer and made no attempt to retrieve them. I had to provide old towels for them but lay down the old parts. They used my dryer as a work station but made no attempt to cover it to prevent scratches. Overall this is my worst service experience I have ever had. I will never use Sears Appliance Repair again and will tell everyone of my new experience.

For the third time, Sears Home Services came to repair our cooktop. Another waste of time. The representative said that they could not repair it and it had to be done by GE. Instead of making three house calls and charging an enormous amount, I would think that they would know that right away.

Pricing details were not made clear. Parts were ordered by Sears on Amazon for a low cost and charged to me more than 5 times the cost of part. I was asked to sign-off on things without proper details on what I was signing for. I would not recommend this service.

Provided all required appliance specs and booked a window of 1pm-5pm three days in advance. On the day of scheduled service, I was sent a link to track the technician that led to an "Error: page not found" site on "Rebrandly." Original email confirmation link did work, with technician estimated to arrive at 4:53pm in 1p-5p window! As time went by, the est arrival time moved to 6:30, 7:15, and eventually 9:08p. It felt like they were just playing chicken, hoping we would cancel, which we finally did. Hire more technicians or stop committing to service visits you can't fulfill.

Complete rip off. I uploaded pictures and entered in all required model numbers and info when scheduling as requested. Paid the diagnostic fee when repairman got here and then was told... what I needed was not available. No way to speak to actual human. I will NOT be buying from Sears again. Ridiculous.(Not at all the repairman's fault but Sears / A&E you are awful)

Rating of zero stars as the technician left. Spoke through technician on the video asking him to wait as I called my wife to put the dogs away so he could come Inside. Instead, technician did not wait was at the door for less than two minutes, and I have video, then left, proceed to close the case and ask for a review. This is after Sears appliance repair texted that there was a virtual appointment. I highly do not recommend this technician nor do I recommend Sears appliance repair.
