Austin was training a new man, Gene. Gene was courteous and professional, but it was Austin’s experience that resolved our problem. I’m really glad we had someone who knew what he was doing! Follow-up - The original diagnosis did not fix the problem. This time Gene came by himself and correctly diagnosed it. Today when the part arrived he installed it. Hopefully this will fix the issue.

My Technician was EXCELLENT - some of the best service ever, but the scheduling process was clunky, and it was disappointing that SEARS Home Services didn’t have parts in stock for a SEARS refrigerator, and we had to wait for several days without our main refrigerator.

The first time he came out he said he hadn’t been given the house number so he didn’t find the apartment when I didn’t respond to email or messages. But he was competent when he got here this time.

I never received information of when he was arriving until the morning of the appointment. Your website states you will get an estimate of the arrival time the night before and I didn’t. Plus you have an automated phone system so I couldn’t talk to anyone. This isn’t Austin’s fault. It is your systems updating people of their appointment and an 8 to 5pm window isn’t acceptable. Austin was good, although I didn’t appreciate him walking around with his shoes in our home. We have a lot of ducks in the area with much waste on the sidewalks. I would appreciate repair people to wear the booties over their shoes or remove them.

Because I have to give an overall rating I’ll give 3 stars. If I could rate the technician separately I’d give him 5 Stars as he was knowledgeable and managed the repair skillfully! I’d give 1 star for the horrible AI experience! You never can talk to a person directly. My first scheduled apnt, which I took work off for, was cancelled while I was waiting for the technician to arrive. I wasn’t notified or rescheduled. I had to go back in, get in line and start the process all over! Trust me, I tried everything I could to get through to a person but it’s not possible! Due to being stood up, I should have been given a call by a human being and rescheduled as a priority. AI can’t possibly manage all situations correctly without human management…I find that very very poor and disrespectful customer service!
