Honestly I wouldn’t even give them 1 star. They have been supposedly fixing my dryer since July. They order parts, but then say they didn’t get delivered so they can reschedule the appointment (after they cancel without letting me know) past when we pay the monthly fee. This cycle has happened multiple times. We should have bought a new dryer. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!! This “warranty program” is a scam!!!!

If I could leave no stars I would. Shady outfit. Take your money to order parts and do repairs and then ghost you. Trying to get money back. No one to speak to locally only over seas answering service. Beware, they are only after your money not interested in helping you.

The tech misdiagnosed my dishwasher. There were many scheduling conflicts within their system that kept messing up times that someone was coming and now my dishwasher is still broken with the same exact problem after getting “fixed”. I was charged $546 after being told it was $490 and it’s been a hassle trying to get a refund back and not even sure if I will. Will never use them again.

I don't normally leave reviews, but this was one of the most frustrating experiences I've ever had. $600 later, a month without a washing machine, and still not fixed. I scheduled the appointment, had someone come and look, and proceeded with the repair. Great. Two days later the part comes in the mail and the guy comes to fix it. Fantastic. Part is broken, so they leave and send another part, booking us two more weeks out. That's fine. Guy comes, "repairs it", doesn't test it and tells us to call if it's still broken. He leaves and we try it, still broken. So, I call customer service. We scheduled a 4th appointment. Guy never calls, doesn't even knock. I get a "sorry we missed you" text saying "call the number from the voice-mail you received to reschedule" (We couldn't, as this technician never called us), we finally navigate the website, and schedule a 5th appointment. Guy never showed up. We schedule a 6th, before realizing we should just get a new washer at this point before spending ANOTHER $600 to get it ACTUALLY repaired. I'm done.

My refrigerator was not cooling but this sears warranty contractor came his name is Austin had fixed 7/20 /24 but it’s totally was not cooling again after 5 days .i was trying to reschedule again 7/29/24 but his company text to me technician on the way to see what happened refrigerator but surprised he didn’t came to my house but he did on his paper work as he did everything got emailed from his company sears home warranty.i was trying to contact sears home warranty they never responded my call and even chats them websites I recommended please do not use this sears home warranty.thank you

I am having a horrible experience. They have sent arrival times twice and no call no showed. Made me pay full price upfront to to avoid on site estimate price. Then impossible to get ahold of after taking our money We payed an expensive price to have them fix our dryer. And can’t even get ahold of them to do the job we paid for! Worst part is they will send text messages of new arrivals times and then just not show up Wild!

This was the worst experience. The technician came to diagnose our fridge. After just taking a look around our fridge, the technician just determined that it was the seal on our bottom freezer that she thinks is not working as she mentioned that there are cool air leaking out. She didn't even looked at the back of the fridge to see if it could be any other issue. Well, she tried pulling the fridge out but couldn't squeeze in to take a look at the back of it. Other tech has been able to pull it out and push it onto the side to have a total diagnose of any issues. And, without looking in the back of the fridge, she misdiagnosed our fridge as compressor failure due to the seal on the fridge door not working properly so that the home warranty company won't cover to fix our fridge. I'm wondering if the "preferred vendor" is working with the home warranty company to scam consumer out of having to do any repairs. We checked the seal and it is working just fine. There is no cool air leaking out when we put our hands to it. Is not like the technician used any garget to detect any cool air leak. How can she diagnose it as the seal is broken without having a device that truly shows there are cool air leaking out? I am not convince! Our seal has been working fine as we have never has issues with it and there are no cracks or dent or broken pieces that would cause air leakage. Therefore, we paid them $75 for a lousy and careless diagnose just to tell our home warranty so that the home warranty won't cover for any repairs. People should be careful when using home warranty's preferred vendor to diagnose your appliance issues. They often diagnose other unrelated things so that the home warranty won't have to repair for you. And when the home warranty won't repair it, guess who gets paid more as one would normally let the company that diagnose the issue to do the repair and you'd need to pay them out of your own pocket. It's a win win situation for the home warranty companies and their "preferred vendors" and a loose loose situation for us consumers!

This rating is not for Melissa H. but rather for Sears and their unforgivagle lack of a system that shows what the last technician did. I find it unbelievable that Sears doesn't have a system that documents everything a technician does, so that in a case like mine, where the appliance was making the same noises within 24 hours, another technician can easily see what was done, and thereby develop a new plan of attack to solve the problem. In stead, Sears left a new technician with no tools to work with, and they made me a very angry customer.
