Hussein did a good job with the repair on our Electrolux washer. However, we have problems with the fact that there is no mention of a phone number that allows us to speak to a live person. The telephone menu system that's in use, is set up to only allow the answers that Sears Home Services wants and if one doesn't give that particular answer, the Sears Home Services phone menu system hangs up on you. This is not good and would be a major reason to discontinue service with Sears Home Services. Also, once one has made contact with Sears Home Services, one starts receiving, various text message from different numbers. This is extremely annoying!! Because of the way their system works, I would not be inclined to giving Sears Home Services a referral.

The tech that came to work on my refrigerator today was very good. He tested everything before working on it. He was very good at explaining what he was doing and why. The first tech that came 2 months ago didn’t test anything. He ordered the usual suspects, got my money and left…15 mins. Ordered parts that weren’t needed. Again. The tech today was great!

Timing and friendliness were great, however you should check and see if a part is available before coming to the homeowner's house. If I had known that the part was unavailable and hard to get, I would have cancelled the appointment and bought a new refrigerator and added the almost $200 of the cost to the purchase of a new refrigerator. it turns out the part I needed was extremely rare and otherwise can't be found. So, I will still need to get a new refrigerator. UPDATE 9/20/24. I found a part on eBay. It was delivered today. Called Sears and they sent out a tech today, installed & ran a diagnostic on it to assure it was running. Said I shud have ice by morning. Now that is what I call GOOD Customer Service and no additional charge.🥰🥰
