We like the technician a lot and we’re not sure that this is his fault. So this is not reading the technician. This is rating the home warranty. We waited two months for someone to come and fix the air conditioner. It’s hot in Texas in the summer.. Someone finally came out and in less than two days it’s not working again. So, the warranty company did not fix the problem and now we have to wait till October 1 to get our air conditioner fixed. Outrageous.

I am angry. Might not have totally been JAVodka’s fault. Might have been misdiagnosed by the first Sears technician. All I know is javodka did some repairs that weren’t necessary. I paid for parts I did not need, and he left with my ice dispenser still not working and told me to go purchase a screw at HD and replace it myself. Or buy a new ice bucket. Then charged my card, cause they had it on file from my previous payment, when I told him I wasn’t paying cause the job was not done. Glad I’ll never have to use Sears Home Repair again.

Can't talk to a person when scheduling or after scheduling an appointment. They couldn't service my dryer because the equipment panel was at the back of the dryer and the techs aren't allowed to pull the dryer out from the wall to access the panel but they didn't tell me this requirement when scheduling or confirming the appointment. I told them the exact dryer style and model numbers so they knew the panel would be on the back but still did not tell me in advance. The tech had to leave and reschedule for another time. There is zero actual customer service before or after the tech is actually there.

They rescheduled me three times after I waited all day for them and then charged 6x for a part then what’s available on multiple online retailers

Calling Sears Repair ranks in the top 10 worst life choices I’ve ever made. My fridge stopped cooling so I called Sears repair since we had used them in the past. The Tech showed up and had the most offensive odor and was visibly filthy. He ordered 3 parts for our fridge and went on his way. Due to the technicians odor I wanted to make sure a different tech came back to do the repair. This is where things took a hard left to the current hell I’ve been in for 2 months. 2 parts arrived within a few days and 1 was on back order. I was not able to get a straight answer on who the tech would be, and no one could tell me anything other than the part on back order will be there before your scheduled repair date. The day before the scheduled repair date I spoke to a rep and he canceled the apt due to the part being on back order. At this point I had been without a fridge for over 2 weeks and needed it fixed or to buy a new one. Once the apt was canceled I was told a refund request was submitted. I waited for 2 weeks hearing nothing so I called again and was told the refund was rejected because they needed to send UPS to get the parts and then they will issue a refund. UPS was supposed to contact me within 3 days. A week later I filed a claim of error with my CC company. Sears told my CC company that I had received parts and service so they were owed the money. Another week later UPS came to pick up the 2 parts. I called Sears again and requested a refund because they now had the parts, once again they declined my refund request. I have called again to request a refund apparently the billing department was not aware they received the parts. I now have to wait another 7 business days to see if they will approve or decline the refund. I have made about 20 calls in total to Sears they have the worst customer service staff, no matter how many times you beg they refuse to get a manager to help or escalate the issue. Everyone has a different lie to tell you. Sears repair is stealing money from customers. I did not have a warranty and was a cash paying customer and was robbed.
